Topic: Nordics Who Preordered from Nintendo Store, Take Notice

So I was one of those who got invite link and to avoid Bergsala fee, decided to order. Now the link directed to IE/UK site and I knew the possible charger issue (UK having different) but it wasn't mentioned anywhere. On Tue I got email the funds will be drawn soon and noticed it said "UK charger".

So be aware that you might get version with UK charger and need to buy EU charger yourself.

I did email Customer support about it and got reply the same day that they've amended my order and will recieve EU charger version.

Just incase you miss this tiny thing since you couldn't find out it when ordering. The charger itself costs 35€ so not bad but..don't we all want correct charger without extra payments?

When I got the invitation email to preorder, I also went to the IE site, and there was an option to choose either the UK or the EU charger. Obviously I chose the latter, and my order details on the Nintendo site + in the email received this Tuesday both say "Charger Type: EU".

Though I was one of those who receiced the invite in the second wave, on April 29th. From what I've understood, people who received a first wave invitation earlier in April may not have been given the option to choose between charger types.

And I guess this issue applies to everyone in EU who preordered from My Nintendo Store and don't have a dedicated store page in their language... I presume they were all directed to the IE site, since that's the only one that's in English but shows the price in euros?

I also chose the eu charger in the options.

I was first wave, i did not see option back then or any info on chargers, at least in MKW bundle. Ofc i was mobile so i might have missed. Hard to check now

And yes, IE is only one English for euros so it directs there. I always use German site because language isn't issue but didn't have this option

But very happy how fast customer support was.

I didn't have the option when I preordered but got an email earlier today they'd made a change in my order. I hadn't even noticed that the earlier email mentioned UK charger so I'm glad they changed it automatically.
