Topic: Nintendo Switch 2 Preorders

Do we remember if the preorders for Switch 1 went up DURING the presentation, immediately after, a couple hours after?

I honestly can't recall. I did snag a preorder from Gamestop on the internet, but I can't remember how soon during/after the Direct it happened.

I can't really say as I came extremely late to the switch party, having had a switch for only about 2 years now. But there is a big rumor going around that the pre-orders will start a week after the direct so that would be April 9th. Gamestop has a free email service that if you give them your email address they'll send you an alert the moment they know that pre-orders are starting.

Yea, I put my name on that list. I had good luck with them last time, and I am a Pro member, so fingers crossed.

I guess some retailers will put up pre-orders as soon as the price is known. I can see some stores actually having to stop preorders, or even cancel them when they find out how many they're getting allocated.

Usually I like the late night Directs here as I always stay up late anyway but 12am for this one is a bit of a pain because good chance that means preorders will go live here the morning after so I'll need to set an early alarm to make sure I'm awake. I'd be real annoyed if I slept in and they all sold out.
