So with Golden Week starting now (it's the 29th now in Japan), it looks like the Tomodachi Life Tetris 99 event and Mario Tennis Aces for Nintendo Music was the last of the April 1st party announcements.
@Grumblevolcano Well that's a blow to the leaks then, since the predominant rumor was that Star Fox was being announced this week. It could just be that the announcement/release was pushed back, but this definitely calls into question the credibility of that rumor.
Way I see it, games are gonna release when they release. Whether they tell us a year in advance, a week in advance, all at once, game by game... none of it changes their internal release schedule.
So sit back, relax, and go with the flow. Yoshi is in a few weeks, on cart for you diehards, then June possibly may see some announcements, but if not, there's Indiana Jones with gyro all on cart for you diehards, we then get Splatoon Raiders and Rhythm Heaven in July, also on cart for you diehards. Not to mention Granblue Fantasy, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Adventures of Elliot. And 007 First Light should drop sometime in that timeframe as well.
And if still no Direct by then, we'll definitely get one July for fall lineup with Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave, Duskbloods, Elden Ring, Digimon, Metallica Gear Sold 4 and Peacewalker, and a wide open 5 month span of unannounced games they're gonna hit us with.
Oh, and isn't Final Fantasy XIV confirmed now too? Might check that out.
