Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

@MarioBrickLayer You know me. I value the third party stuffs over the first party announcements. Give me confirmation of the Return to Arkham Collection for Switch rather than the title name for BotW 2 and a June 2023 release window.

@Magician I have to agree with you on that one, I know BOTW 2 is on the way, I wouldn't care if it wasn't mentioned at all.

I can't decide which I want more, the Arkham collection or that Lara Croft double pack which was mentioned last year.

RIP Direct, some random guy with bristle batons on twitter has declared it's your time.

@Magician @MarioBrickLayer I value near future the most so like MK8 Deluxe DLC wave 3 being revealed for October/November would mean more to me than something being announced for 2023.

@Grumblevolcano I know what you mean, generally I agree. It will be interesting to see what happens after BOTW2 and Metroid Prime 4 are released, I wonder if Nintendo regret announcing them too early?

I'm absolutely deceased. That was one of the best Directs I've ever seen (even if it was because it catered to me specifically XD).

The first 15 minutes were all bangers, then it sort of fizzled out for me. Thankfully, the big one at the end had me jumping for joy.

Who are the leakers that stirred up Metroid rumors going into this Direct?

It was meh for me. Like the big announcements I really loved, but the rest of it was just, eh, and then they had to promote there pikmin app before giving us the real thing, which lasted forever.

So 6/10 for me, which even then might be a little to low, but you know, just wasn’t interesting overall, but it’s big announcements saved it.

Grubb needs to take the L for that and people need to give him less airspace - sure he said there would be a direct this week but thats like saying it will rain in England in September. He tried to pull the most common rumours out the bag like Prime Trilogy and WW/TP and failed, resulting only in disappointing the gullible and the optimistic.

It was an awesome Direct.

Kinda funny though, I was watching it on mute at work & I maybe took 2-3 calls throughout the entirety of the show, then the Zelda trailer started playing & I got 5 calls right on top of each other, lol.

The RE games annoyed me more than they should've. Not spending a single dime on the cloud versions, no matter how badly I want to play them.

A few good announcements (Tunic, Goldeneye, Mario Kart) but slightly disappointed that Metroid Prime, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess weren't mentioned.
