@Grumblevolcano Nothing seems weird there. Just means we should expect a Strikers specific trailer/direct next week ish, since it seems to usually be mid May.

So when is everyone predicting the next anything Direct will be? General, game specific, own presentation format, that kind of stuff. I remember hearing talk of one in late May/start of June and was curious if I'm right in thinking that.

Yes I'm aware this is the most generic question ever to ask in a thread like this but I'm starting to get a bit antsy with the lack of major info on Pokemon, Splatoon and.... anything really.

@Fizza Well E3 was canceled, and I know people didn’t like it but that was the reason I did, yes it sucked the last year, but I liked to at least know when me might get something in general, so I’m not just here waiting for whatever shadow drop is next.

@Fizza
If 2019 is anything to go by, a Pokemon Direct should happen in early June to provide more information on Scarlet/Violet.

An Indie World could still happen too (if you count that as a Direct).

@Fizza The trailers for Three Hopes, Xenoblade 3, Splatoon 3 and Mario Strikers over the past few weeks makes me think if there's any sort of Direct this month it'll be Indie World with a small chance of Pokemon Presents (TPC seems to prefer doing those in June).

Nintendo has to face their investors this week (earnings results are on May 10th) so maybe Indie World happens this week and/or the localized version of the Mario Strikers trailer.

I don't think we will get a direct until maybe august or september :c
Since they have showed off Xenoblade 3, Splatoon 3 and a Mario Strikers trailer.

@Fizza @Snatcher I don't think E3 being cancelled has a major impact on Nintendo's plan. It's been years since they did something on stage. It wouldn't be the biggest shock if they did something in June as normal.

@MarioBrickLayer Not a impact on nintendo, or any other game company honesty, they were already doing digital shows, its just people don't know when this stuff will happen, nintendo at least has a history of when they do directs, but other then that to go off of, we have no real hard date on when we might get stuff from them.

Direct, I’m assuming? Either that or a few more shadow drop trailers.

I still think we're going to get a Direct in June. Yes, they've shown off Splatoon 3, Xenoblade 3, and Strikers Battle League, but that still leaves quite a few games for them to show. Advance Wars, BOTW 2, MK8D Wave 2, Metroid Prime 4, Scarlet and Violet, Sparks of Hope, and Silksong. This is a speculative list of course, but just my thoughts on what they have the potential to show. Not to mention all of the games that haven't been announced yet.

@Grumblevolcano I'd think a general direct will still be in the cards. Given the lack of any exclusives for August, October, or December at this point ( correct me if I'm wrong), it seems like nintendo would be poised to lay out their plans from August on with a June direct. Perhaps a zelda title to release in August, with a bayo3 release date specified in the direct to be in October. And AW1+2 for December.

I wouldn't mind some more paid DLC for New Horizons.
I want to play Animal Crossing, but I don't really have anything to do on my island, and they don't make new events anymore.

Also, they should add a new group of villagers that are called Rude Villagers, and they behave like the GameCube games.

Well generally the indie directs have been after PAX and PAX East is in late April this year, so they might just wait (if this does happen, it probably confirms these indie directs are specifically worked on at PAX events to some degree).

So MH Rise Sunbreak digital event and Indie World have passed, next up is whenever Nintendo decides to start their Mario Strikers promo outside Japan.

@Grumblevolcano Do we usually need to wait this long for an English version of a trailer? I usually recall the translated versions coming out a couple of days or so afterward, if that, even.
