Topic: Is The Switch 2 Worth It???

Was reminded of this thread when I saw the new Steam Deck pricing.

Nearly $1000 for the 1TB version of the deck with similar specs makes me answer the question with a resounding "yes" even with Nintendo's upcoming increase

When and what do you think the next console will be, will it just be an update to the 2 or a brand new console

What: it will depend entirely on vibes and on whether or not the Switch 2 is sufficiently successful in the next few years.
When: For practical and financial reasons, hopefully not until roughly 8 years from now, at the very least.

Games that have made the switch 2 ‘worth it’ for me:
Mario kart world
Dk bananza
Ff7 remake
Echoes of wisdom at 60fps
Sektori
Bayonetta 3 at 60fps and not blurry (especially after boost mode)
Hades 2 (though I imagine this is great on the original switch)
Also enjoyed cyberpunk but not as much as the games above.

Looking forward to Pragmata (when I can get it around £35), ff7 rebirth and Splatoon raiders in the next couple of months.

Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.
