Topic: GameCube controller on back-order (UK)

Yep, mine came today!

Messaged them this morning for an update. Here's their reply:

In relation to your order of Nintendo GameCube (GCN) Controller - Nintendo Classics, we can confirm that this is currently on back-order and is pending items to be replenished. Once replenished , the payment will be taken and it was delivered to you. Unfortunately we are not able to confirm on timeframe for this.

We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate the patience given so far and any further updates will be sent via email.

What does make me laugh is at the time the GameCube wasn't cool, but now it is, I loved the GameCube.

Now for some reason its popular here and now the controller is selling out fast.

Still no update on mine or my friends order.

I'm tempted to message the My Nintendo Store again but not sure it's really worth it.

Super disappointed that there's no timeframe of when it might arrive as I'm still really looking forward to getting it, using it for a while...

...then putting it in a draw and forgetting about it. XD

That is ridiculous! I'd poke them again.

Unfortunately, we would like to inform you that your order pending item is still currently on back-order and is pending items to be replenished. As soon as these are received, your order will be processed. You will receive a dispatch email once the order has shipped.

We are unable to confirm a time-frame of replenishment, if you wish to cancel the pending item please let us know for further escalation.

UPDATE

Still didn't hear or receive anything from My Nintendo Store, so I ended up cancelling the order and getting an unused controller from eBay (for slighly cheaper). Super disappointed with the way My Nintendo Store dealt with it all but I'm glad I've finally got one now.
