Topic: FFX/X2 S2 Version Enhancements?

Hi guys. I am looking forward to the Switch 2 Version of Final Fantasy X/X2, and the description I read stated that it has "quality of life" improvements such as no random battles. My question is, have they stated what the other boosts are? Wondering if they will have boosts such as EXP multipliers or something like that. Side question: Since save progress does not carry over, should I just delete the S1 version of game now and wait till release of S2 version next month? What are you guys doing who have the S1 version of the game? Thoughts and help appreciated

I'd already forgotten they announced this honestly. I believe the boosts are the same as in the PC version, but I'm struggling to find a proper explanation of what they are at the moment. Worth noting though that there's no upgrade path at all from the Switch 1 version, so you'd have to buy the whole thing again on Switch 2 (for $50 if you don't wait for a sale!) just for a few QoL tweaks and a higher resolution.

This is a slightly frustrating announcement for me, I bought the Switch 1 version on a whim and wasn't aware that the 'PC boosts' didn't come as standard.
I should've done my research as I'm really not a fan of random, unavoidable encounters in RPGs and unfortuantely this game has a lot of them. I've since started Final Fantasy VII Remake and am having a much nicer time.

Maybe I'll pick up the Switch 2 edition of FFX-X2 in the future when it's on sale, once I've summoned the will to start it over again.

Hi again guys. It seems that the S2 version of FFX/X2 Remaster will have the boosts that were on the PC version. Thing is, I don't know what the PC boosts all are. Does anyone on here know what they are? Thoughts and help appreciated

There's a graphics comparison here, but I still haven't seen anyone really explain what the PC boosts do beyond the list of names I posted above. I suspect they're not worth the price of admission if you already have the Switch 1 version though.
