Topic: Cannot use left joy-con

Has anyone faced this issue before? Left Joy-con doesn't initialize on its own, but when combined with right Joy-con it works. So it cannot be used for two player and only for single player games where both controllers are in use such as is FC 2025. I don't think the left Joy-con is defective as otherwise it won't even work when combined with the right one. Thank you for your help

@ramon82 Have you testest the button inputs in switch settings to verify that joycon's SL and SR buttons work? I've heard joycon antennas can be damaged if joycons have been thrown by mistake or dropped hard - a possible reason for why the left joycon won't be recognized wirelessly.

To rule out easy fixes, make sure the switch and joycons are updated, and do a thorough reboot by holding power button for 15-20 seonds. Disregard if you've done these already.
