Topic: Nintendo Music App

My theory: they only added the first half of the Forgotten Land soundtrack earlier this year because the other half will include any new songs in Star-Crossed World.

My personal most wanted soundtrack for the app is Majora’s Mask, but if I have to guess a game for the week, I’m gonna go with ARMS. Mostly because we usually get Switch games semi frequently plus the last two were games with Switch 2 updates.

Surely that will come out after the DLC since the DLC will include new music.

Unless Switch 2 editions are separated? 🤔 We haven't seen yet I guess.

I'm going to piggy back off of YunoboCo's Gale of Darkness prediction as the logic seems very tight.

I'm also going to throw in Metroid Zero Mission as it's Metroid's birthday on Wednesday!

Metroid's certainly long overdue so I'll throw in Super Metroid alongside ARMS again, if they fancy something more modern.

I’ll guess Kirby Air Ride again, surely this time, right?

I’m going to go with Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition. We haven’t gotten a Xenoblade yet and starting with the first game makes sense. I’m not sure if they’d include the Wii ost as well though, maybe later

An entire series all in one evening?! I mean, I'll take it and give them a listen, but the person choosing the soundtracks has been rather generous lately!

I've long given up trying to find any pattern in these releases.

Predicted 64 quite a few times but didn't expect the whole series to drop! Lol

A pretty niche fanbase at this point but delighted to see Nintendo drop a whole franchise in one go!

Hopefully we see this more going forwards!

Imagine if they dropped the entire Xenoblade series at once... yeah, that's not happening...

The only thing that could possibly contend with that would be Smash Bros...

nintendo music is so good for studying, its been being used a lot. i was thinking about it, and i hope they release a spotify-wrapped style “you listened to this this year the most” when the round up in december rolls around.

Cool to see them drop an entire series in one go like that. Not sure there's many other series where they might do that though. Would have to have shorter OSTs and not already have a game on the app... so Star Tropics and maybe Big Brain Academy?

Anyways, at the rate they're going they're gonna run out of SNES and N64 titles to add before even making a dent in the GBA/GameCube/DS/Wii/3DS libraries.
