Once again I'll be guessing Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. I gotta be right one of these weeks... plus I feel their soundtracks are long overdue.

The OST is Mario Paint. Not only that, but the game is now available on NSO!

That's a surprise. I'd like to think that's the start of Mario 40th celebrations but we'll see soon I guess.

Is this the first time that they've dropped a NSO game and released the soundtrack for it on Nintendo Music at the same time? Anyway, I'll definitely give this a listen later!

I've not played Mario Paint but the soundtrack is like the most SNES soundtrack to ever SNES. Which I guess makes sense when it also has a music creation tool.

OK, I'm not gonna lie... I was actually hoping to see Mario Paint's music come to the app and I'm so happy that it's here! Always loved the first drawing board music, and it brings back memories for me. Nice to see Mario Paint itself come to Nintendo Classics, too.

Oh hey, the fact this includes the premade music... I guess that means when we get Wario Ware DIY that will come with all the fun pre-made tracks too!

I'm pretty confident that it is, which is wild considering they are tethered to the same account and subscription! Fingers crossed they do this more in the future.

I've never played this game but some of these songs are pretty recognisable from Smash Bros and even Mario Kart World.

Why oh why is there still no Xenoblade soundtrack on this app?
And only one Switch-era Fire Emblem OST?
Kid Icarus: Uprising would be amazing to have on here as well. One of the best OSTs Nintendo has ever made, in my opinion.

My guess for this week's soundtrack: the original Xenoblade Chronicles, both the original and the Definitive Edition. A few points to support my case:
Xenoblade Chronicles has no representation on Nintendo Music yet.
There hasn't been a 2000s and beyond soundtrack since the beginning of last month, if you count Ocarina of Time 3D, otherwise, it would be the end of the month before the last.
There hasn't been a new Wii game soundtrack since December 16, 2024.
There hasn't been a new Switch game soundtrack since June 30, 2025.
Also, surely the original game will be added sometime to Nintendo Music this year since this year is the 15th anniversary of the series.

There is one of two possibilities this week.

It could very well be Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness along side the NSO release on Gamecube app, especially since it is going to be the 20th anniversary for the game. Too much of a coincidence for it not to happen.

Or it will end up just being a random game, which in that case I am going to say Animal Crossing New Leaf just because I want them to add it lol

My prediction is something Metroid for the 39th anniversary on August 6th. Leaning towards Metroid Dread considering there's usually a Switch game each month.

Now that I think about it, I'm surprised Kirby's Adventure hasn't made it to the music app. I thought Nintendo would've added the soundtrack by now, and I would imagine they'd want to take a break from adding Mario soundtracks, so I'll guess that.
