Topic: Nintendo Music App

Out of boredom:

Favorite Mario platformer soundtracks: Galaxy 1 > Galaxy 2 > 3D World
Favorite Mario Kart soundtracks: 8 Deluxe > Wii > 64 (I've not played World, plz don't kill me)
Mario RPGs: SMRPG = TTYD > Paper Mario 1 (I adore Paper Mario's soundtrack but it needed the remake treatment more than the music in the actual Mario RPG remakes)
DKC: 2 > 1 > Returns (I wish I loved Tropical Freeze's soundtrack but I didn't)
3D Zelda: Wind Waker > BOTW > Majora's Mask (having to only choose 3 is painful)
2D Zelda: Minish Cap > Link's Awakening > ALBW
Metroid: Prime > Super > Prime 3
Kirby: Superstar/Ultra > 64 > Air Ride (lack of Dreamland 3 or 3DS is also painful)
Pokemon: Johto > Hoenn > Sinnoh
Xenoblade: 2 > 1 > X (haven't played 3 yet)
Splatoon: 2 > 3 > 1
Mother: 2 > 3 > 1 (though 1 is less of a distant third if I could include the vocal soundtrack)

That's all the ones I have any worthwhile opinion on. I could also not tell you how I'd rank Star Fox but the three games would be original, 64 and Assault.

Guys, oh my word, I just heard the whole 3D World OST. I really didn't jive with the feel of that game so I never really heard it before, but good golly gosh it was amazing. I didn't even plan to listen until suddenly Champion's Road came on during a shuffle, and I thought "woah this is a nice cover of — HEY WAIT IT'S NOT CONSIDERED A REMIX?? What is this?!" and then went down the whole OST. It's so goooooood

There are truly an enormous amount of Nintendo games; they could keep dribbling songs out like this for decades.

My random guesses for next week:

• Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
• Kirby's Adventure
• Pokemon Snap

Punch Out (NES)
Special Release for Super Mario Bros Wonder Switch 2 Edition

I almost want to dare to get Kid Icarus Uprising for its anniversary, now that Super Metroid is more proof that anniversaries aren't almost useless indicators for NM updates.

@Dev-N there are soooo many Nintendo game anniversaries though; usually more than 10 per week. All 3 of my guesses are anniversaries.
