I saw this tweet about ReedPop's Gamer Network business being sold off:

I know it's about the owned sites like Eurogamer, Game Informer, VG247, etc. but will it affect the Partner Sites like the 4 in the thread title?

Probably depends on if the new owners find value in the sites. I think Nintendolife and Pushsquare will be fine. But Pure Xbox and Time extension don’t seem to get much people viewing the site, so I could see them getting cut.

Edit: disregard this.

As long as NL is fine im fine.

Space and Games are similar. Space is endless and new stuff is out there waiting to be discovered. Games are always being made but the creativity is different from one game to another and so many more ideas still haven't been imagined or created yet. (That came out better than expected lol)

I can only say I hope so.

No mention of Hookshot Media or Nintendolife. Nintendolife & Hookshot are probably fine.

You could always use the contact button and ask Anthony.

I found this on Push Square:

Hi there, @antdickens can speak to it better than I can, but from what we've been told, this shouldn't affect us very much. We're not owned by the Gamer Network; we're only a partner of the network and they help us with sales (adverts I believe). You don't need to worry about us going anywhere!

It looks like the partner sites are safe.

This is completely false.

All of Hookshot is operated independently from Gamer Network, anything like that is purely a Hookshot decision.

Gamer Network has an agreement to act as our sales department, along with their own sites. This will continue under any new owners, therefore the sale should have little to no impact on our day to day operations.

We’re excited to see who will acquire Gamer Network and help take things to the next level!

I see, while happy to hear that I am wrong! This group of sites is a nice safe haven from most of the internet.

I think it will take a lot for Nintendo Life to go down. Maybe Push Square? But Pure Xbox I could imagine going bye bye one day.
