@Ralizah oh you are right. I’m still buying FE DLC. Ugh. I may just keep loading eshop credit till I am done.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I don't own and have never played two of the Gameboy games either. Pinball Land and Star Stacker. So that's a priority (even though I think NSO is adding Gameboy games next).
@Tyranexx Yeah that game's been on my radar for some time now! At least they're giving me the motivation to finally get it before the eShops are closed for good. I may get at least some of the Mega Man Battle Network games as well, though I'm kind of hoping for a legacy collection to come out on Switch.
Edit: Oh yeah, I wanna get Wario Land 2 and 3, as well as Game & Watch Gallery 3 and 4.
For people who have Hyrule Warriors Legends, but none of the DLC, I totally recommend getting the Master Wind Waker DLC. It’s a dollar and it comes with good content, plus Medli, the free dlc character, is incomplete without it.
I've got a feeling any Atlus games would be a good idea as old physical games from them are always a bugger to get hold old. The main ones are the Persona Qs which I'm not fussed by at the momenet but I can see myself having an interest later on though. The other one would be Radiant Historia which I've played before but I could see myself wanting to play again.
A raid on the Wii U's VC is a must especially for Wii games, I think I have Pandora's Tower already but I need to double check. I wouldn't mind Kirby's Epic Yarn but it's not essential. I need to make sure I have the Golden Sun sequels.
Maybe Gurumin 3D as I always had it on my wishlist waiting for a sale but if I didn't want to play it enough before I don't think it's essentail now.
Also EVERYONE needs to download Star Fox Guard as that game was amazing!!!
There's so many games I still want to get... Don't know how I'm going to manage to buy them all within a year. I suppose I should prioritise games that make use of the second screen of each system (and other unique hardware features) as they're unlikely to ever be ported, so stuff like Star Fox Guard, the Mario vs Donkey Kong games, Hydroventure Spin Cycle, maybe Spin the Bottle (I don't know if I'd actually like this game but from what I can tell it's extremely Wii U so there's no chance of it coming to Switch)...
As for recommendations, nobody's mentioned Pocket Card Jockey yet. Buy it if you haven't already, it's great.
Also, Nintendo, if you're going to announce Metroid Prime Trilogy for Switch you'd better hurry up before I buy it on Wii U.
Yokai Watch 3 English version in physical is really damn expensive on Online shopping website so I have no choice but pick the digital version quickly before 3DS eshop get closed.
But I have played Yokai Watch 3 Tempura Japanese version so not really a big deal to play again the English version.
My wish list is quite sizable, but to be fair, I have downloaded quite a good chunk of Game Boy + Game Boy Colour games already. My plan is to bolster the virtual console as much as possible and have a skim through for any titles I wanted but never got around to buying, plus DLCs I missed, such as Mario Tennis, Golf, Fire Emblem Echoes etc. I will probably spend my weekend having an in depth look at both Wii U and 3DS eShops, and work out roughly how much I need, and budget accordingly.
Just checked Nintendo's website for sales like I usually do, and on their games page, Wii U is no longer an option under platforms. Also worth noting, Yo-Kai Watch 1 is on sale, so anyone in the US wishes to get a copy, it's on sale right now. I remember picking up a copy at Five Below a couple years back, honestly, it's a good RPG. Wish I haven't slept on it.
Maybe Gurumin 3D as I always had it on my wishlist waiting for a sale but if I didn't want to play it enough before I don't think it's essentail now.

I'll second Star Fox Guard. Really fun tower defense. Thanks for reminding me on Gurumin 3D. Not an exclusive as I played it on PC too, but it is a really cute RPG, so recommending that to those who might be looking for a cute RPG.
I'm also going to add the Parascientific Escape games on 3DS, I've loved this visual novel series.
Also going to stress this again, Tank Troopers. Seriously, it's a fun tank game. I wish there was a release of it on Switch with online play. It has local and download play multiplayer, and a single player mode. It's only on 3DS.
@Eel You mean the Virtual Console Kirby raid I should probably also do on both eShops? I only just learned in the last couple of years that I like the series. So far I've only played Kirby: Superstar and Kirby's Adventure, but I do own Planet Robobot.
@MarioLover92Drill Dozer also invokes some Pokemon nostalgia if you've played the original Gen 3 games. The Wii U Gamepad also makes use of the rumble feature. As for the Battle Network and Wario Land series, I wholeheartedly recommend them!
Currently playing: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr's Journey, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (Switch)
@Tyranexx I played quite a bit of Ruby and Sapphire back then. Not as much as my brother, of course, but they're probably my most nostalgic Pokemon games. Which was part of the reason why I got Omega Ruby. I got Wario Land 1 and 4 on my 3DS (WL4 was exclusive to 3DS ambassadors), so if I get the other two, I'll have them all! I have MMBN2 on my Wii U currently. Maybe I'll at least get BN3 Blue and BN6 Gregar if Capcom's not feeling like making a Battle Network collection anytime soon.
Oh, WarioWare Gold's another one I wanna get. Never got that one since I was more focused on the Switch at the time.
@MarioLover92 I won't spoil anything, but I'm glad you've played Ruby/Sapphire. I've played all the mainline Wario Land titles and think they're all worth it in some way; II is my favorite out of the bunch. All the Battle Network games are worth it in their own way IMO (Well, both versions of 4 are a bit of a stretch if you're a completionist), though I recommend playing those in order.
I also Highly recommend WarioWare: Gold, especially if you haven't played some of the previous series entries like yours truly. I had a ton of fun with it!
Currently playing: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr's Journey, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (Switch)
Nothing really on 3DS (my backlog is collecting dust as it is), but I'll probably buy a bunch of VC games on Wii U closer to the closure, especially DS and GBA games. I'm not particularly crazy about NES/SNES/N64 games.
Well almost 100 dollars later and I finally have all the FE DLC I was missing. I hadn’t even started Echoes so I had to speed through to get to the point that I could buy DLC. Yeah FE3H was way kinder on the DLC prices. Will likely work on JPN DLC next, taiko no Tatsujin in particular.

I'm thinking of just picking up SMT IV and Apocalypse eventually. There's also some games I really need to redownload before the eshop ends up closing, but I can do that later.
"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."
@Tyranexx That's good to hear. I'll definitely pick up Wario Land 2 and 3 at some point then. Yeah, that sounds like the best option for playing through the Battle Network games, I played good chunks of all the games, at least. I only finished 5 and 6. That's awesome to hear about WarioWare Gold, good thing I thought of it ahead of time!
Maybe I could get the Virtual Console games first, then get the retail games I previously mentioned in this thread. Right now, though, I don't want to mess with my Mario Kart DLC preorder.
@PikaPhantom I have Sin and Punishment: Star Successor and it's awesome. Highly recommend it if you're into arcade-styled shooters, and it looks really good for a Wii game.
