im hoping ash is still in the anime, as the Alola champion who has to fight against all the current champs of all the other regions.

he should be only champion who is not a native of his represented region.

Ash winning was long overdue. His victory in Sinnoh was basically stolen by a completely out of nowhere character who carried Legendary Pokémon. Unova was just insulting in how he lost, after that I basically gave up actually following his stuff.
