So with the leaks being legit...who's ready to see a new nintendo home console on store shelves this ho,iday? Oh and seems like this direct was in the old format. so the new format is likely to debut at E3.
@Grumblevolcano: I have to agree with @TheLastLugia, though... I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that "the NX is going to be a rushed mess" seemingly because of a Paper Mario game... which we don't know much about (well, that might be not saying much).
Come on guys, give them a chance. We were given so little about the game that it's impossible to figure out how it'll turn out. Maybe you should wait for another couple of trailers.
@WebHead: this situation is so beyond ludicrous that the phrase 'give them the benefit of the doubt' is a stupid thing to say. We have literally 0 concrete information about the thing, and after one Direct when it wasn't mentioned once we're judging it based off of 'I hate Sticker Star' and 'Everything About Federation Force Ever'? Like seriously what the heck? I gave Microsoft the benefit of the doubt after they screwed up the One's reveal and after they turned things around I bought one last year and have been happy with it. I will do the same for NX, wait for the reveal before giving anything/one the "benefit of the doubt".
I mean Jesus Christ. Next we'll be talking about who's gonna win the 2020 elections. Talk about jumping the gun.
@WebHead: There are enough games to keep the 3DS going on for another year, add the SNES games and it just seems unlikely that we'll see the NX any time soon. Well, maybe in E3 but that's it
@-Red-: Yeah, like Splatoon... it turned out to be pretty bad, right?
@Freeon-Leon: Except Splatoon actually looked pretty damn awesome and unique from the very beginning. They're barely comparable; if at all.
Edit: I also would like to clarify that I'm not saying the game's bad or anything. My point is that it becomes irritating /annoying having to give someone the benefit of the doubt so often.
@-Red-: Many people were/are doubtful about Splatoon and still, it turned out pretty well. While Nintendo have had a few missteps lately I think it's good to give them a chance, because after all, they're pretty darn good making games.
@WebHead: IMO that's still very unlikely, but we'll see.
