It doesn't even make sense from a content perspective. If that were all there was to be the presentation would be over in 20 minutes or less, and the North American direct would be even shorter since no Fire Emblem or Yo-Kai Watch. And each direct has at least one new announcement, even if it's a smaller one, especially since it's been four months since the last one (and no, Pokémon Sun/Moon does not negate that).
@IceClimbers: There are other possibilities like more unannounced 3DS retail titles than the number of codenames, Federation Force not appearing in the Direct (maybe they cancelled it last year), Star Fox Zero delay, significant differences in release dates (e.g. if DQVII came out in April/May) or even a big Zelda U blowout (if significant details are given, the concept of Zelda NX becomes less likely).

And I still can't believe they would let Pokemon go w/o a line, there are already toys and pins of so many of them. Starters. Legendaries. Evee and her 8 evolution. Or maybe just 1 Evee and the 8 evolution happen in game like Lego Dimensions Dr Who? Those AC ones are litralyjust taking up space on shelves, they are never going to sell, but Pokemon? They don't even need a game, just a Pokedex.

1. why isn't HWL, Pokken Tournament or even The Legends of Zelda HD TP isnt on that "leaked"?
2. how did they even leaked this? (surely they get in trouble for finding this stuff. i didnt think it's even possible that you can leaked this info without going to Nintendo's HQ)

Edit: And Excel 97? Really?
That's the biggest invalidating point for me. No way Nintendo is running Excel 97 on their machines. This is likely off a home computer.

There is Fire Emblem DLC in Monster Hunter X (Chrom and Lunica costumes) so the "leak" isn't exactly wrong. But it doesn't make it any more credible either.

My Money on any surprise release, instant or soon after the direct, is the Mario vs Donkey Kong Amiibo game, I forget the real title. I also forget if they have offically announced it outside of Japan.
