Topic: NintendoLife not working on iPhone

For the last couple of weeks NL hasn't been loading on the Safari browser on my iPhone. Here is the error message I get:

Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request.
GET https://www.nintendolife.com/
Reason: DNS lookup failure for: www.nintendolife.com
Apache Server at www.nintendolife.com Port 3128

It's odd because it's the only site I've seen that doesn't work. I've also tried it on a couple of other phones, and gotten the same error. I'm not sure if it's something to do with my phone, or NL, or what it is, so I thought I'd ask over here. Any ideas?

It works perfectly on mine, not sure what's up on your end. Sorry I cannot be of more help.

No worries. It's just interesting, as I've tried it on a few people phones, and gotten the same error. Not sure how to fix it.

@Fuzzy, I've not had any problems on the iPhone myself. Weirdly the proxy error might be something to do with your provider, as often mobile phone providers will be using them to compress data - do you have problems when accessing the site using WiFi on your iPhone?

Yeah, from reading up on the net, I thought it could have been my provider, as all the phones were on the same one (Telstra).

I was going to see if your site worked using Wi-Fi when I got back from my holiday, but when I tried to access the site one last time, it worked. So yeah, not sure what happened- after a month or so of it not working, it started working again. Weird.

Anyway, now I can get back to avoiding work more productively...
