I have had an Nintendo Switch for about a year now, and this has been happening for too long. I would be playing any game like Super Smash Bro Ultimate, and out of no where it would disconnect. Once I reconnect the right joycon, I can’t even move anymore!
This is the same with fortnite too.
Please tell me how to fix this as it is getting annoying.

@truepowerr Some joy-con disconnecting can be normal (my launch switch still does it every once in a while). Nintendo packed a lot of tech into the joy-cons, and sometimes they are fussy, but it shouldn't be major problem. Not-being-able-to-move is obviously not normal. Nintendo support has good troubleshooting pages. They also have a decent phone line & chat messenger.

This may be the page you want. You can search "joy-con disconnect" to see if their are other relevant pages.

If troubleshooting can't resolve your issue, that likely means hardware failure, and repair or replacement is needed.

@truepowerr Switch got a new update today 12.0.2. Update the console and your controllers to make sure that doesn't solve your situation.. If you contact Nintendo, step one for troubleshooting is making sure your console and controllers are updated.
