OK, maybe I am, but my user name is not "weirdadam." For some reason though, when people quote me lately, it shows up as "weirdadam says." Initially, I thought this was Cowlaunch fooling around and editing the "quote=" tag to pick on me, but now I've seen it happen once more in the same thread and once more in another, each by a different user. So whoever's fooling with my account, very funny.
On a related note, before this incident, my name would always be quoted as "_adam," even though I clearly have no underscore in my name and have my first letter capitalized. Anyway, if this is a joke by the moderators, that's fine, but if it's some odd bug that appends "weird" to normal people's names, I figured someone should know!

Actually, if you guys want to just change my name to Weird Adam to make it easier, that'd be fine, too. The name grew on me. Maybe I am weirdadam. Perhaps I've become my doppleganger.
I'd be satisfied if my name were actually changed to "Weird Adam" so it'd at least be uniform. Seems like a simple solution, but I don't know how this stuff works.
Except that the + thing is a general bug, if it's a bug at all. This "weird adam" thing is bizarre and unique to me. I think one of the mods are messing with me, actually, but that's fine.
I'm guessing they can't change your name to Weird Adam because there actually IS a user called Weird Adam. Or there was. And somehow you guys got your profiles crossed.
It would certainly be unfair to Weird Adam if he ever showed up again to find out that you had taken over his posting account.

Up until now, I'd forgotten that this account was linked to the whole site, not just the forum, so I figured it was a made-up account since its sign up date was from preforum days. Guess I can't take it over then, dang. Adam The Butt is kind of catchy, but I think I can think of something better. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

After finally watching Lynch's INLAND EMPIRE a few days ago, I'd be a bit frightened by the doppelganger potential if I had a 'weird' version of myself appearing without explanation.
Just watch out for giant rabbits, dancing midgets, white-faced men menacingly pointing a video camera at you, or anything else out of the ordinary. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.
