Topic: BotW Expansion Pass Question

I'm probably not gonna get any answers due to my rude? behaviour, but what the hell, I'll ask it:

Is the expansion pass downloadable without having to download the whole game?

Due to an incident where I accidently have the downloable game, the cartridge version & the expansion pass, I want to have the cartridge version only with the the expansion pass installed on the Switch.

If you have the full game in any form you can use the Expansion Pass.
