i read the full interview for this game and it left me with a huge smile on my face! I hate vampires but HVS managed to make them look awesome. i love the weapons they've shown so far suck as the ak-47, the shotgun, dual wielding pistols and swords! thats not even all of em either. wii-speak 4 player co-op online! up to 65 enemies on screen (so far announced vamps' werewolf's slashers but promised way more in the future) with gameplay like left 4 dead and monster hunter. i love everything except the characters (sorority sister really?) but im sure that ill buy this the day it comes out. so whats your thoughts on this game do you like it? what would you like to see added or taken from it? do you think it will be a success?
Left 4 Dead is one of the few games I was genuinely disappointed by not being able to play. If this is half as good as that game seems to be, I'll be making a definite purchase. (Fingers crossed the wi-fi is reliable...)

Online game play is not a huge selling point on Wii. It's nice to have, sure, but most people have the console to play with others. Couple that with dull, ugly graphics and a game design that just begs to be on another console with a fan base more into this type of game, and you have a recipe for disaster.

agree w/ Adam...while I'm all for developers making use of these features, no one cares enough about them (at least on a large scale) to really have them affect sales much...and yeah, it all stems from a portfolio of "wow, this game was almost a 6" software that HV seems to love being associated with. I've pre-ordered the special edition of Conduit, to support them and give them a genuine chance to wow me...we'll see how it goes.
EDIT: @Shakkin Brewtyss - Left4Dead really wasn't that great imo...one of those games that, for the first hour, seems like a novel, kick-ass fps, and by hour 2 you realize you'll probably never pick it back up....just no staying power. And yes, I will spell your name differently every time I reference you in a post.
I don't think either of the newly revealed titles will see the light of day unless Conduit is a commercial success, especially considering how much worse both of these games look, and how comparatively niche they are. For a company so very proud of its graphical prowess, it looks like they've made a couple of early Gamecube titles.

imagine 30 zombies runnin at u and ur just spraying bullets with 4 friends and more and more zombies are coming so u go to find a safe place in a building to find out theres like 50 in there its really intense

That's surprising to me. The thrill of fighting back to back to back to back with three online friends for an hour or so at a time seemed to me like the recipe for ultimate staying power. I was definitely intrigued by Left 4 Dead's claustrophobic design...and, to be honest, I would give it a chance if something similar came to Wii. No idea how large the online community would turn out to be (there's no way in heckfire it'd match up to Xbox), but as long as you had a handful of friends with the game, that's all you'd need.

I am dead serious about what I said. I have owned my Wii since launch and love it, but I also got an Xbox 360 from my wife for Christmas and honestly play it more now than the Wii. The reason why is because 360 has more adult gaming experiences that I wanna play. I want the Wii to get more of these ambitious type of games so that Nintendo gets the point.
