1.Kirby: Triple Deluxe (it's pretty much an even better Kirby: Return to Dreamland, lots to do for a Kirby title)
2.Steam World Dig: A Fistful of Dirt (fell in love with the charm and the repetitive (but addictive) upgrade and dig some more routine)
3.Azure Striker Gunvolt (a more complicated Mega Man-ish title, the story is forgetable, but the level design and 2D action mechanics are ace)

Top Wii U games
1.Mario Kart 8 (the best MK since DS, great couse design and the DLC is the clincher)
2.Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (IMO, some of the most vibrant, detailed 2D platforming levels ever, the soundtrack is amazing as well, move over Mario)
3.Bayonetta 2 (a worthy sequel to the orginal in everyway, such a refreshing title for a Nintendo platform, gotta love the Umbra witch mechs!)

Top non-Nintendo games
1.Far Cry 4 (a sandbox of destruction set in a fictional Nepal-like nation, the most fun I had in 2014, beat it back to back)
2.Infamous: Second Son (a really solid single player experince that is a bit short......but the real stars of the show are the graphics and coma inducing combat)
3.Destiny (yup, it's repetitive and has a lackluster story, but it also has some of the most solid and satisfying gunplay mechanics since......well, Halo 3)
