Diddy was always the clear winner here, easily beating his competition to claim top spot. Elvin was always a steady competitor too, bagging runner up, ditto Admiral Bobbery who was comfortably in 3rd throughout despite one point between him and Elvin. Fawful moved higher up the ranks after overtaking Hammer Bro, but Hammer Bro never really looked in danger of going out anyway. Iggy swapped places with Jaxi right at the end and becomes the first wildcard, potentially getting another chance. But the same can’t be said for Jaxi, Cackletta, Baby Bowser and Gearmo, the first 4 characters to fall at the first hurdle so they are eliminated.

Round 2 qualifiers:
