@ grenworthshero Lucky Bastard! I still can't get a PS3. My parents aren't about to hand me 300 dollars. Besides I've got other expenses. At least I got a few nice Wii games.

"An Idiot Abroad" with Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington Hardback from my older sister.
"American Dad!" Volume 3 from my parents (how did they know!?)
A belated DVD from my brother (something along the lines of "The Day Today", "Garth Marenghi" or "Nathan Barley")
And the final 2 DVDs in my Bo' Selecta collection, "A Bear's Tail" and "Bo' in the USA" (look them up, Americans) and a Terry's Mint Chocolate Orange from my younger sister.
And a Tenner from my Grandmother.
Nothing game related, but I get the feeling my relatives know how much a minefield it is to buy gifts anyway. Honestly, every gift was perfect.
We don't do presents at christmas in my family but we do observe the Dutch tradition of St. Nicholas Eve (Dec. 5th). I didn't get anything video game related this year other than a €10,- game coupon which I spend on Nintendo Points to buy Cave Story. Full list:
A White Chocolate Snowman A Reese's Snowman Etrian Odyssey III EOIII Artbook Sonic Colors DS Drawing For Dummies (book) Hitch-hiker's Guide To The Galaxy (Book) Classic Westerns Collection (DVD) Garfield 2011 Tear-off Calender A picture featuring several classic Comic strip characters A $20 PSN Card A $10 iTunes Voucher $100 cash from Grandma and Grandpa
On Christmas eve:
Ys Books I & II (VC) Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light
It's become a tradition of sorts for my non-gamer brother to walk in to Gamestop and buy some random game he thinks I'll like. To date, I've not kept one of them. This year: Championship Paintball 2009.* His reasoning for buying it: he thought it'd be a good one for me and my roommates to play in our dorm. The facts: the game is single-player only. Highest praise they could find to put on the box: "Number one publisher of paintball video games."
“I am a brother to dragons and a companion to owls." Job:30:29
PS3 Sega Dreamcast w/2 Controllers and Ready 2 Rumble round 2 Big Bang Theory "Sheldon Shirt" (Space Invaders) America's Game: The Dallas Cowboys (NFL network series- documentaries about all 5 super bowl seasons) And that's only some of it! Presents await tomorrow as well. Officially the best Christmas ever.

Lol so if you know hes going to get some random game from Gamestop why dont you just ask him for a Gamestop gift card?
RetiredPush Square Moderator and all around retro gamer.
Bamboo Tablet and a set of Prismacolor colored pencils I also got enough money to round off my savings for Adobe CS5 Design Premium (And iTunes credit)
Great Xmas overall. The tablet and pencils were a nice surprise. And I can finally afford some decent design software. Most Mac freeware runs on X11 which is an absolute pain.
Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby Epic Yarn, Metroid Other M, Call of Duty 4, Gamestop giftcard, 2000 Wii Points, $50 PSN Card, 1600 Microsoft Points, Dragon Quest VIII, and a Zune HD. Such a triumph this year.

Haha, he likes buying gifts. This year, he got me a $20 card, as well, so he kinda did, but he prefers to pick something out. And it's always good for a laugh.
