Well it all started when the wii first came out and I got mine Christmas. I play the wii sports alot but specifically TENNIS. and after realizing just how much i liked it i decided to get some lessons to learn tennis in real life. and without boring you with the details i'll just take you about 4 years later and i'm the the Varsity Tennis team in my high-school! I just thought i would like to share this with everybody because i just think that story is really cool! Do you guys have any cool story about your wii or why it's your favorite console?

Because it brought me back to gaming after a lot of years away. Made me feel like I did when I was a kid playing Pong and Asteroids and then Super Mario Bros.

I dont know I dont think anything will top the SNES as my favorite console. Just the library of games and alot of favorite games of all time have been on that system. Games like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 3 and of course Earthbound. IMO the SNES is the crown jewel of Nintendo consoles. While the Wii is good but it wont top the SNES.

Of course the fact that most of the year last year the VC was lacking is another reason I dont think the Wii deserves top spot in my book.

The Wii is my favorite console because of it's awesome name. It reminds me of Daisies and tulips and sunshine and crap.

The Wii is definitely my favorite Nintendo console of all time. It already has most of those fondly remembered Snes games available on VC anyway. Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 3 will be on it soon. Wii can do everything a Snes can do plus a whole lot more. Do people just have an an extreme attachment to the Snes because of Earthbound?
I was around when Snes was first released so I know how awesome it was.
If that was the only system I could play for the rest of my life though I'd get bored pretty quick.

I enjoyed gaming fully again for the first time since like 2003 and got to play all the great games I missed from old consoles (mainly SNES) that weren't remade for a handheld. Nuff said.

The fun is likely over now and I still loathe the gaming community for basically sabotaging it (granted, Nintendo themselves didn't help) but ok.

That is a cool story, actually. Too bad I don't have a cool story about the Wii.:/

The SNES has a lot of games that will never come out on the Wii. Some of those are pretty awesome. In fact, VC is laughable with its slow pace of releases and just how many games won't come to it. More often than not, you're better off owning the original system.

I took up Tennis ages ago but our weather is rubbish so I rarely do it.

Yeah that's a cool story. Kinda the reverse for me though, I was already good at tennis and looking for a great tennis video game... I still haven't got one on the Wii.
Grand Slam Tennis was close... but the horrible, horrible motion lag.

If I could only have one system to play the rest of my life without a doubt it would be the SNES. Oh and no, people do not have the extreme attachment to the SNES because of Earthbound. I have never played that game but there are a ton of other SNES games I love on that system.
