Daisy, because she was in the oh so bizzar Super Mario Land and hasn't been seen in a traditional mario game in ages. Mario needs to rescue somebody else for a change!
I like the fact that she hasn't been kidnapped in decades.
If you count the Mario Parties as "real" within the Mario Universe... She's more than capable of punching Bowser out of the scene.
Which is why Daisy needs to be in the next Smash Bros. Game.
She's kind of an alternative color for Peach...does that count?
I've always disliked the alternate colors in SSB... same way I dislike nicknaming Pokémon, or playing as Miis in Mario Kart, or customizing game consoles, or stuff like that... I like everything to be official, and I'm very OCD about it...
