I want to get an iPod with some savings. For me I would most like to get iPod Classic. I did notice it was more than iTouch though. Which one would be best to get? Please reply. This is a matter of life and death (meaning good or crappy iPod.)

What do you look for in a MP3 player?

If it's only for music, get the classic ipod.

but i would recommend the ipod touch 2nd or 4th gen.

Cringing is really fun.

4G iPod Touch. Great game library, downloadable books, podcasts, apps and of course music all in one. Also, you definitely want one with a big amount of space like a 64GB so you can hold all of that stuff, 'cause my 8GB is completely out of space.

Yes, but a 64G is around $350.

I have the very recent Nano... It's good for me because of my life style (going to the Gym, the click and size of it is VERY handy).

Of course, I would say iPod Classic. There's a good reason why they have that still kicking.

It depends on what you want. If you think you'll have thousands and thousands of songs go for a classic. If you'd like apps, internet access (with wifi), and of course still plenty of songs. If you go with this, I'd recommend at least getting a 32GB. It's only $70 more than the 8GB one and it will make all the difference in the world with storage space. If you don't care about that stuff, get an iPod nano, which is great for just songs but not the tons and tons the classic can hold. If you don't care much about listening to specific songs and/or if you really want to save money, you may be interested in a shuffle, although personally I like to be able to choose specific songs and/or albums.

Other MP3 players are available.

I have had... poor experiences with... all my Mp3 players. I would rather just use a trusted Apple device.

I've got, what I think, an iPod classic. It's got 160 gigs.

There really isn't a "best" iPod (but there is a worst: the Shuffle). It depends on what you want. I have the 6th gen Nano, and it's fantastic. If you want to have a huge music collection everywhere you go, then the Classic is a good option. Personally, I wouldn't get it, but that's just because they'll drop it once the Touch has a better storage capacity. Get an iPod Touch if you want a media player, not just for music.
