Here in latin america, they changed it from "old school, familiar toons" to "RADICAL! teen soap operas! YEEEEAAAHHH"

Woah man, I'm sorry to hear that. That is like totally lame man. I can't believe they'd do such a thing to you guys. I'm sick to heck of all this teeny booper soap opera mess. Nickelodeon has almost gone to hell in a handbasket with all of that Drake and Josh, Victorious and Big Time Rush mess although they've still got a few cartoons airing (mostly Spongebob Squarepants). Man, at lest Cartoon Network is still a fistful of animation although they do have one or two live action dramas.

@Mickeymac, we can't afford cable or satellite. So we rely on the "internet television alternatives" as Wired Magazine calls em. Please keep us in your prayers. Hard times these are.

BTW does anyone remember 'CatDog' and 'Ren and Stimpy'?

CHICO TIME

A song so apocalyptically bad there I actually opened an Incognito window to get the link so it doesn't show in my browsing history. You're welcome.

Yeah, teen dramas aren't my thing.
At least here cartoon network is 100% toons....
Well, except for El Chavo del 8 and El Chapulin Colorado which are very old live action mexican sitcoms, and they're very toony too.

I haven't seen any of these new crazy cartoons lately though.
Flapjack and Adventure time seem fun from the small amount of episodes i have seen.

IT'S VADER TIME!!! (Sorry, couldn't help myself, even though it's already been mentioned) On topic, Love The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack (so adorable LOL). That and continuous watching of Cartoon Network really helped me in recovery after surgery for a work-related injury a couple of years ago! Really got into Total Drama Island too, and I HATE HATE HATE reality shows! Maybe that's why I liked it because it so made fun of Survivor! Friggin hilarious!

Catdog, yes. Very good show for its time. Ren & Stimpy, I try to forget.

Yes, I miss CatDog very much. I still can't believe Nickelodeon cancelled Catscratch.

dude why do you have to always say creepy stuff? :/

this ^

LOL. Sorry guys. I'll try to not creep you guys out. Sometimes I just act really quirky as my family and friends have come to know. I simply enjoy the weird, unusual and quirky as that is why I enjoy things like TobyMac, Tim Burton, The Monkeys, Stellar Kart, Johnny Depp, Guillermo Del Toro, , The Twilight Zone, The Twilight Saga, The Addams Family, Adventure Time and the like. It's just apart of who my personality and I sometimes I simply do thing that can be off the wall. It's always nice to toss a bit absurd in the mix to keep things from getting dry and drab you know.

Anyway guys, what do you think of 'The Grim Adventures of Billy and Many' and the classic 'Invader Zim'? Are you guys into those two classics?

DESTROY US ALL!

I've been watching a lot of the shows on the Hub network lately (before you say anything, no i'm not one of those freaks obesessed with My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic). It's like a Godsend to somebody like me.

Also, the new Pokemon series has been making me nostalgic as of late.

I agree man! The Hub is soooooooooooo exceptional. I really like and enjoy Transformers Prime and GI Joe.

Yeah. But they seem to have a really unusual pattern for releasing new episodes (release a couple, wait a month, release more). Still, it's better than the "Release a half an episode each week so the season is longer even though it's really not" method CN has been using lately. I really should look up episode guides for some of those shows so I know when the heck every episode is supposed to take place (since they've been mixing them up in rebroadcasts too)...

I rewatched Invader Zim Last year. It was okay, but not as funny as I remembered it.

Billy & Mandy was one of the best shows I watched as a kid. I never saw it to the end, but it never got old for me. So funny in all the right (read: wrong) ways.

I simply can't get enough of Invader Zim, Billy & Mandy, Adventure Time, Fosters Home and Marvelous Misadventures of Flap Jack.

Have you read the comic Gear? Catscratch is based on it (just the main three cats, pretty much) and it's AMAZING. It's by Doug TenNapel (the Earthworm Jim creator) and it's about three cats fighting in this big war between dogs. It's great, as is everything TenNapel creates.

EDIT: And Invader Zim is my favorite show of all time. You should check out the creator's comics, namely Squee. Squee has very Invader Zim humor and isn't as dark and (possibly) offensive as his other, better work Johnny The Homicidal Maniac. JTHM is absolutely brilliant and, in a way, quite sad and beautiful at times.
