for those who haven't played FF3english/FF6japanese - play it before answering this question. You might just change your answer
@Mega - slight spoilers...although for this topic I doubt I even need this warning Sephiroth's not really straight-evil though...just really bitter and pissed about being misled. Kefka, however, was just an insane, angry, evil, power-hungry nutjob
@Mickey - purely power. He wants it, will stop at nothing to get it, and pulls some seriously devious, nasty mishaps along the way to get it--all the while cackling maniacally and feeling no remorse whatsoever. The parallels to "The Joker" of Batman fame run deeper than just the clown makeup.

Couldnt have said it better myself. WHile others have said or thought about destroying the world Kefka actually did. He is an agent of chaos and has no real goals. To quote Michael Caine from The Dark Knight, "Some men just want to watch the world burn." That right there sums Kefka up.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
You know what I'm going to say so I'm not even going to say who my fave Heroine is, but....
My favourite Hero has to be Zidane since he was more of a forgiving type of dude who gave even his brother Kuja a chance.
My favourite villian is Seymour...not because he was a good villian in execution, but a villian has to annoy the masses somehow and he played it brilliantly...he's the most hated FF Villian of all time...and he wasn't even that great at being a villian! XD
I see many Kefka votes, but he's considered a favourite villian over execution rather then annoying the masses, yes he did what the others didn't but I felt that despite it all he got too carried away with it and wasn't really "OMG I SO HATE YOU FOR KILLING THE EARTH" but more like "Kudos, you wrecked the earth...what now? You've done everything you can and now you just want to challenge the heroes".
