That'd be so awesome What would you do if Pokemon were real? I'd become a trainer and travel the world catching most of them. My favorite would probably be pikachu or that new deer one from black & white
That would be both scary, and cool. Because...what we don't think about really when playing the games is this: What happens when the moves...miss?
Think about it. You are in the Celadon City Gym, and your Charizard misses with a Fire Blast. So...wouldn't it end up burning down the entire gym? Would surf not cause some kind of damage in the environment around you? How does a Pokemon Surf in the desert, anyway? How, if you are surfing on say, a Squirtle, do you, the trainer, and your Onix fit on the Squirtle, and still have room to fight? A misplaced Thundershock short circuiting the entire city's power grid?
In short, there are a lot of hassles that would arise from actually having Pokemon in real life. It would be awesome to have real life battles, but at what cost? AT WHAT COST?
How, if you are surfing on say, a Squirtle, do you, the trainer, and your Onix fit on the Squirtle, and still have room to fight?
Better question: what happens when your Onix uses Dig?
...Wait, what happens when you call Onix back and send out Diglett instead?! O_o
CRAZINESS! You can use Dive on land and Dig on water!! If you are surfing and you make your Onix use Dig and then switch to your Squirtle, You would be swimming and your Squirtle would have dived!
