Played X-COM UFO Defense and Sonic Rumble this past weekend. In X-COM, successfully completed a mission without losing a soldier. In Sonic Rumble, unlocked Godzilla from the Godzilla event.

Penny's Big Breakaway - Pretty good game, it's made by the same studio that made Sonic Mania and it's got a similar art style to that game, only it's a 3D platformer. It took me a bit to learn the controls, but I got used to them and using the yo-yo is pretty fun. I'm at the fourth world now.
UFO 50 - I'm surprised how much I like this one. I've been dabbling with some of the games and I even found a few favorites, like that car game that plays like a cross between Rally-X and Splatoon. I'm not quite done checking out all 50 games yet, but I will.

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
Recently played a bit of Among Us for kicks and giggles. Have also been continuing to play ACNH on Switch 1 and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1+ on the PS4.
Also, a few days ago, I played Union Circle in Pokémon Violet with a friend, and got more snacks from Professor Snacksworth. I think I only have one or two more until I have all of the returning legendaries in the book. I'm kind of disappointed that I had to update my Switch to be able to play online again, but at least I can access NSO icons and the eShop again... until I refuse to update again, or something 😅.
My top 5 favorite games:
1: Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1
2: Pokémon Violet
3: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
4: The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening (2019)
5: Animal Crossing New Horizons

Finished the first world in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. Really fun so far. Just in regards to presentation alone it's a delight with its great claymation and wonderful soundtrack(might be one of Kirby's best), and I enjoy the core gameplay a lot here than I did with Canvas Curse.

I finished all of the prominent side quests and companion missions that I want to in Divinity Original Sin 2, so now I’m focusing on beating the game. I’m hoping to have it wrapped up in a couple of days—and I’m sure I’ll somehow get distracted by another side quest(s) despite saying I am fulfilled.
More Sonic Racing CrossWorlds tonight, did the next cup in the grand prix mode. Been enjoying this one as much as I enjoyed the open network test back in August. It feels good having something new to play on my Switch.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Man this game has its grip on me. I am really enjoying this game and I cant wait to play more of it when I am not playing it. I put my thoughts in the main thread for this game.

Some classic gaming this weekend. Played some X-COM UFO Defense Saturday evening while enjoying a mug of chocolate milk, this morning, played Fatal Fury Special (I didn't even know they added this one) and Big Run on Nintendo Classics (is that what we're calling NSO now?).

LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII PS3.
I have never played this game before.
Given by time limitation to save the world before 13 days gave me some pressure.
I played on Easy difficulty to get less pressure.
I still working on mission 1-4 & 1-5.
I find some difficulty with X-COM, even on beginner difficulty. Mostly because I can't figure out how to defeat a cyberdisc.
Well, it happened. I was playing an X-COM mission tonight, one of my soldiers fired a laser, repeatedly, at a cyberdisc from a distance. The cyberdisc not only got defeated, it exploded and took out another alien!
I did it, I defeated a cyberdisc! That laser weapons research and manufacturing paid off.

Been playing Mario Kart World this weekend, particularly the online Knockout Tour mode. This mode is so good, and I love coming back to it, lol. Also been playing some online matches in Kirby Air Riders since there's a Top Ride event going on. I went ahead and unlocked everything the event offered, too.

Been on a classic gaming kick lately. I renewed my NSO subscription early (so I don't need to worry about it later this year, my subscription is paid off until September 2027), and been playing on the SNES Nintendo Classics app. Today played Rival Turf, Fighter's History, and Fatal Fury 2. Also played Big Run and Tuff E Nuff yesterday.
Managed to beat Fatal Fury 2 tonight. I'm surprised how many SNES fighting games are on the service.
I’m finally playing Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. It was overwhelming at the start, but the game does a good job easing you into different classes. If you take the time to understand how the systems work, you’ll gain added appreciation to its depth. I’ve just reached Chapter 2, and my main character — Ramza — was a Monk, but I classed him to the Geomancer role, and we are annihilating enemies with ease. I can’t wait to see what other classes unlock, and I really can’t wait to become a Ninja.
@Sunsy Fatal Fury 2 especially Special is really good especially on the SNES. I remember that and Street Fighter 2 were my most played fighting games on the SNES when I was a kid, kinda ironic given the history between those two games. I have yet to play the new Fatal Fury game especially with the teasing of Krauser's return.

@Tasuki Nice. I played Special the other day too, color me surprised, I didn't even know these had SNES ports, or they were even on the service (I haven't kept up with games that got added). Always remember reading about the Neo-Geo originals, so it's finally nice to play them.

@Sunsy Funny enough I was the other way. I remember being in high school and reading a magazine, I think it was Nintendo Power, about the SNES game. What stood out to me was how you can move from plain to plain adding that additional strategy to the fights. I didn't even realize it was a Neo Geo game till I saw them in an arcade years later.

I played the REANIMAL demo for around half an hour or so last night. It looks and runs pretty well on Switch 2. It's much darker and gloomier than Little Nightmares 3 and the small bit of voice acting took me by surprise. Undecided on whether to get it on PS5 or Switch 2 but I think it'll be day one for sure.

With my interest in WWM winding down a bit, I finally took to the time to begin play River City Saga: Three Kingdoms. Mmm, Dynasty Warriors-flavored River City Ransom. It's solid. I like it as much as River City Girls.
