All I can say is that God doesn't control the events that happen. But he gives everyone the ability to make their own decisions.
your right. We are given free will. God could control the events if he wanted, but he choose to give us free will. God knows what we are going to do, but gives us choice.

Note: I believe this as fact.
I absolutely agree,Kizzi. We are given free will by God.
I love hearing other people's point of view. Although I would love to debate with some people on some things, I will not.
Same here, hearing other peoples points of view widens mine, I'm not stuck with one way of thinking, that's why I'd never try to refute whatever other person thinks, everything is posible, as far as I know even Corbie's theory could be true .

So when his priests go around touching little kids (And not in the "Hey Timmy it's nice to see you again" kind of way) he knows that's going to happen?
This is one of my favorite topics, but I won't really get involved. I do it in countless forums >_< I personally don't belive in any "supernatural" event that can't be scientifically proven, and that includes God. Japan has a Christian population of 1% (mostly non-Japanese people), and 65% are atheists. Coincidentally, Japan is one of the safest and most educated countries in the world - it's not perfect, no country is, but it's funny how a country that doesn't believe in Jesus is doing so fine.
free will... Well every person is sinful, EVERYONE. God is perfect, his followers are not. We sin, he doesn't. he sent his son to die for our sins so we can go to heaven.
not controls you... free will. he does know what you are going to do though.
If you allow me I have a theory abot this, I think "God", being so great, does know all the outcomes from all the choices we could make, he doesn't know what choice we are gonna make, but he knows what is going to happen anyway.
