Old anime feels deep. Never really watched the older stuff, so this is new to me. I should probably watch some of the classics from the golden era. If you have recommendations, feel free to tell me. I love the scene where the ship dives. This is how I would imagine it would look like, if you could dive through the firmament, which divides the waters above from the waters below. When the water ripples, it even looks so colourful, like the stars in Animal Crossing.
I've been going through an album a week, as someone whose rarely listened to full albums. Doing one classic from the past 52 years.
Currently listening to Stevie Wonder's Songs In the Key of Life, which is very unsurprisingly great. Though I might listen to the 2nd half tomorrow because its a long one.
Kind of listening to songs from older animated films, namely One Little Slip from Chicken Little by the Barenaked Ladies. Pretty basic rock song, but I really enjoy it. I also must add that a lot of the songs in the soundtrack (which mostly consist of cover songs) are pretty decent.
I’ve also been listening to the soundtrack for Over the Hedge by Ben Folds and Rupert Gregson-Williams. Still haven’t heard the whole soundtrack, but it’s awesome so far! I like the songs by Folds the most, with “Still,” “Heist,” and the film’s version of “Rockin’ the Suburbs” being my favorites so far, though I also do like the original version of the latter song too.

After procrastinating for a while, I finally got around to listening to the album American Beauty/American Psycho by Fall Out Boy in full. Pretty good album, but I kind of like their other albums far more, but maybe it’s because I need to listen to this one more. For specific favorites from this one, it’s “Immortals,” “Uma Thurman,” “Favorite Record,” “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” and “American Beauty/American Psycho.” Though, if there is one song from there that I actually kind of didn’t like a whole lot, it’s “Centuries.” Kind of don’t know why, I just wasn’t a big fan of that one.
Besides that, I’ve been continuing with listening to songs from animated films, specifically Little Wonders by Rob Thomas and Another Believer by Rufus Wainwright, both from the soundtrack for Meet The Robinsons, as well as Biggering - Original Demo by The 88 from The Lorax.
I’m also trying to find some new, catchy, sort of fun songs with silly lyrics after listening to Kirby Krackle and Tom Cardy a lot. I’ve been trying to do some branching out and finding new artists and songs after putting a bunch of Vocaloid songs on repeat and getting sick of them. One song I’ve been listening to that Spotify recommended me after I listened to Kirby Krackle is You’re On Fire by They Might Be Giants. Really liking that one.
Still in the mood for old-fashioned music, so I'm listening to songs from the 1930s. They're all genuine songs, and they're all great to listen to! It's from the YouTube channel Classical Tunes. ❤️🎵

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
I kind of have been listening to rock from Spotify’s playlists they have made for me. Still going back to a lot of my favorite Fall Out Boy songs, but also heard some other rock songs, such as “Everybody Loves Me” by OneRepublic. Like that one, but I really think I need to listen to more rock artists, not to mention more Fall Out Boy albums besides the three ones I keep repeating only…
Also listening to nerdcore songs, or just really songs that are more comedic and witty from a personalized nerdcore playlist Spotify made from me. The ones I liked a lot from there were “A Boy and His Boat” by Starbomb, “Lake Ponchartrain” by Ludo, “Doctor Worm” by They Might Be Giants, “H.S” by Tom Cardy, “20 Percent Cooler” and “Pvp” by Ken Ashcorp, “Atomic Karate” by TWRP, and “Woah There Kimmy” by Felix Hagan & the Family.
Besides that, I have also went back to listening to some J-pop songs I used to love a few years ago, specifically “Shinigami” by Kenshi Yonezu and “Tokyo Shandy Rendez-vous” by MAISONdes, KAF, and Tsumiki.

YouTube recommended this to me, a few days ago. It is a very nice collection of Terranigma music remixes. Thanks for the relaxing music, for one of my favourite games!
Listening to Fall Out Boy’s debut mini album Evening Out With Your Girlfriend. I got curious about their earlier songs and wanted to check this out, also because I need to listen to more of their music.
Just finished it, but I think it’s a super mediocre album. It’s not abysmal, but its VERY unmemorable compared to their later work, and the lyrics in most of the songs sound kinda generic and can get repetitive. However, I did sorta like “Calm Before The Storm”, “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose (But I’m Gonna Give It My Best Shot)”, “Pretty In Punk”, and “Growing Up”, but that’s sort of it. Though, I feel like I should mention that the album was rushed and recorded in only 2 days on a low budget, which I guess explains why it’s underwhelming. Even Fall Out Boy themselves hated the rushed nature of this so much that they don’t even consider it their debut album!
Besides that, I listened to a bit of the album Santi by The Academy Is…, and it’s very good so far! Only listened to “LAX to O’Hare”, “You Might Have Noticed”, and “We’ve Got a Big Mess on Our Hands”, so I’ll have to listen to the rest of the album, though I’ll probably do it later after I listen to more of Fall Out Boy’s albums.
Also listening to BIRDBRAIN by Jamie Paige featuring Kasane Teto and OK Glass. This was pretty popular last year but I heard it in full now and it’s a banger!
Thanks, been finding myself liking rock a bunch lately, since October actually! J-pop and Vocaloid have taken sorta a backseat lately. Repeating the same five songs over and over again encouraged me to give new songs and bands a try…
I see! I haven’t heard those two albums in full, but I have heard “Touch The Sky” from Late Registration and it’s a great song. Maybe I’ll give those albums a try since I want to hear new songs. As for albums I revisit, it’s Folie à Deux Fall Out Boy and occasionally SIU by MARETU. Freaking love Fall Out Boy a ton, but I only started listening to them back in October. For a good while the only song I ever heard from them was “Immortals”.
