Today I found out, that one of my favourite games from the past was made in Russia. I hope this will be not my last favourite game from there. It was called "Pirates of the Carribbean" in Germany, and it is a fun RPG about pirates, and you can sail on a big map, trade, fight and stuff like that, like in the classic "Sid Meier's Pirates!" game. I remember getting the ship "Black Pearl" at the end. And the storms with the big tornadoes felt pretty intense at the time. Of course, the music is also nice.
This came on a random 80s playlist I was listening to while working. It was really reminding me of Donkey Kong Country music, particularly the second game, and then I realized there's a synth they use that sounds incredibly similar to the 'web woods' theme. Anyway, catchy tune.
I'm listening to Gametal's cover of Legendary Theme from Guitaroo Man!
I'm Lydia in Pokemon Violet
Scratch: Penguinie2012
Splatoon 3: DJ Servbot
Everywhere else I am CutMan003 (mostly)
I will Net Battle people on Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. :)
Still enjoying the album Infinity On High by Fall Out Boy, but I am also listening to the album E for Everyone by Kirby Krackle. It’s a bit of an old album and I discovered it a few months ago, but I like the nerdy subject matter of the songs and how they are filled with pop culture references. Out of all the songs on there, “Henchman” is my favorite, but I also like “Great Lakes Avengers” with the constant superhero references.
I have also been listening to My Top Songs of 2025 playlist Spotify made for me, since Wrapped released a few weeks ago, though I’ve been skipping most of the songs on there a lot. It’s mostly full of Vocaloid songs that fell out of my radar or repeated too much and got sick of. I’ll try listening to other albums from other artists I know, also to prevent myself from getting sick of my songs on repeat. I’ll probably give Folie à Deux a listen soon, as I’ve heard maybe three songs from there and really liked “I Don’t Care.”

Since it's the Christmas season, here's a feel-good Christmas song for y'all. It's by a Christian artist named Toby Mac.

I have gotten REALLY into the band Half•Alive. I would seriously recommend you give 3 songs of theirs a try. Half•Alive will certainly not be a band for everyone, but because all of their songs sound completely different, you can't listen to one song and make a decision.
If I had to pick 3 to suggest, listen to Still Feel, What's Wrong, and Runaway. It's really hard to choose just 3, but hopefully I covered a variety of song genres. Also, Automatic, Subliminal, and Arrow are fantastic in my opinion.
It won't click for everyone, but it would be cool if one person found a new band they liked because of this comment 👍
Warning: Spicy opinions like "M&Ms are overrated." may leak from this unit!
This is the ending theme of a game I recently beat called Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online. The song's name is Log Out Shinai de in Japanese (Do Not Log Out in English).

Alter Bridge released their new album today (self-titled). I got a band signed physical copy two days ago. Real rock music still exists. You just have to look beyond all the nonsense of today's slop.
This fire is burning and it's out of control. It's not a problem you can stop it's Rock and Roll!!!
Listening to the album Foile à Deux by Fall Out Boy. I actually finished listening to the whole album almost 2 weeks ago, but I can’t get enough of it. My favorites from this one would have to be “I Don’t Care,” “w.a.m.s.,” “What A Catch, Donnie,” and “Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On A Bad Bet.” Though, I still need to listen to more of their albums…I’ve only heard this and Infinity On High in full.
As for singles, it’s only been Fascinator by MARETU featuring Hatsune Miku. Very happy he dropped a new song near New Years after being absent for a year.
