As much as I love video game music, I've never bought an album.
However I did get some albums from packages
Mario's 25th Anniversary Soundtrack: A small bonus with Super Mario All-Stars
Zelda Orchestra Music from Skyward Sword: Only a few small tracks. But it's beautiful. Get some headphones and listen to the masterpieces
Street Fighter's 25th Anniversary Soundtracks. Basically I own every song Capcom has ever made for Street Fighter great and diverse music
Code of Princess Pre Order Bonus Soundtrack: Forgetable a nice bonus, but forgetable
Shin Megami Tensei IV Soundtrack: I actually never tried this out yet

I have the Mario All Stars CD, The Zelda 25th anniversary CD, and of course, the glorious Majora's Mask OST

Listened through the Bravely Default OST. Pretty decent soundtrack, modern, but with a dinstict old-school JRPG vibe to it. Not on the level of Uematsu or Mitsuda, but it's good. Good enough to justify the +$10 for the Collector's Edition of the game.

I've got that Zelda 25th Anniversary one. The Majors's Mask Club Nintendo one should be here any day. But my favorite video game soundtrack ever, which I haven't even played the game for yet, has to be Metal Gear Rising. Imma buy that shiz.

I probably have some more since they tend to come free with a lot of indie games, but I don't listen to them. I would really like to own the soundtracks to the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts series, although they seem a little pricey for the amount that I'd listen to them.

Distant Worlds II and the Ocarina Soundtracks are the only ones I own. Kinda got tired of both. Video game soundtracks don't lend themselves well to iPod listening, IMO...

EDIT: Oh wait, I got a bunch of Sample soundtracks and the Guilty Gear Soundtrack, too. Those are all good stuff, but I think the Guilty Gear and Blazblue ones were made to be listened to on CD/MP3...

Pokemon X and Y, and Ocarina of Time that came as a bonus with Skyward Sword. (...I think, or was it Club Nintendo?...lol)
I used to have Super Mario 64, but that was ages ago and the CD went missing some time ago. Aside from those, I downloaded everything else. x3

(...except M&L Dream Team, recorded the music myself that time, lol)

I think I have the Xenoblade OST somewhere on my old laptop, and on my 3DS as well. Got it as a Club Nintendo award a while back.

Even though I have no plans to even own the console it's on, I would love to own the soundtrack to the new Killer Instinct. Its freaking amazing!
