Topic: VGM Closing Ceremony!

Well, if you do more rounds, there's not any reason to not close these.

Eventually it will come to an end (not for a while though) and when it does, those that took part in more rounds will have a distinct advantage. I know there aren't any prizes or anything, but I still like to keep it fair. So I will announce well ahead of time when I start closing rounds but for now they stay open.

EDIT: Ok here is what I am going to do. When I post up the next round, I will also post up a closing time for round 1. Then, after that is closed, I will post a closing time for round 2 etc. I know some of you are dying to know the answers.

Ya, probably a good idea if you wait. People now know to look at your avatar for hints on number 9 LOL

ah! my computer won't let me pull up the latest 3 songs! i guess i'll have to try in the morning, and see if it'll work. not likely that i'll know them, but i'd sure like to guess.

Not that it would help me any, but #12 seems as though it cuts off before it is finished.

Man, I only knew one track out of round 3, but round 4 is pretty easy.

@Shimmy Zmizz: Ya, I noticed that after I posted it. The song does finish, for some reason it cut off right before the second loop...

Wow... I don't think anybody has gotten number 7 or 8!

I thought I knew a couple more of those than I actually did, so I didn't send an email until recently.

@grnworthshero: Even still, 6/12 isn't bad in VGM and second place is a good spot. And its a good thing you emailed me with your answers before closing the first round. The only one you got wrong in the email is #9 (of course from the dreaded round 3).

Curses! That was the one I wasn't sure about. I had never played the game I thought it came from, but it sounded like that composer's work. And what does 1/2 mean? Is that to say I guessed the wrong iteration of a franchise?
