Insane inputs (Fighting games)
Kids online
To be quite honest, I haven't seen any hard to do inputs in a fighting game in years, outside of maybe one or two moves. They've realy been reigning it in since the late '90s.
MK and SF special move controls are as much a mystery (and pain in the butt to get to work) to me now as they were 20 years ago. I still can't do that Z looking thing with the control stick. That's why I liked Budokai Tenkaichi 3, simple to learn, an enjoyable challenge to master, and it lets you develop plenty of different fighting styles.
Text so small that it can only be read on an HD TV. I don't see how this benefits anyone.
More like Text so small it can't be seen by anyone, even if you do have a big TV...seriously, the TV I play most of my games on is pretty big, yet I can't read any of this stuff...

Well, Mortal Kombat doesn't count because it has and always will suck. As for Street Fighter, I don't know what you're talking about. Outside of one or two moves, most of those of Street Fighter is pretty simple to pull off compared to the old days (though I'll admit, Street Fighter was never as complicated as other fighting games), unless of course you've never played any other fighting games besides those 3 franchises you've mentioned, in which case you are totally not qualified to talk about this subject.

Cute. My first fighting game (the first of many) was Yie Ar Kung-Fu, on the Amstrad CPC. I'm more than qualified to talk about anything relating to fighting games. Considering your SF fanboyism, this would disqualify from having a credible, unbiased opinion on any issue relating to fighting games.
developers that think the players should be thankful for getting their game and players that complain about really small insignificant details or unexistant "hints" on some kind of ideology.
also announcing a game before it's ready forcing the development team to pick up the pace and reduce the game's quality to keep up with the deadline.

Sorry, but I'm no fanboy. I just play a ton of various fighting games. Try again.
Littering the screen with what button does what throughout the whole game! Also although it's not an in game thing, I really miss good old fashioned instruction booklets.
3rd person shooters with an emphasis on a cover system (Gears and Mass Effect are the only games where this was a good idea imo)
Never played Ghost Recon Future Soldier then, huh?
No, actually. I was generalizing.
Well you should give it a try. It did a cover system very well, imo. And the fact that the majority of the game isn't just action, but stealth/strategy, makes it feel like it should have a cover system, instead of just following the trend for no reason.
"The future doesn't belong to you!"
Waiting for: BOTW 2, Metroid Prime 4, Xenoblade Chronicles 3

well that's good. I'm not sure I could convince myself to get it over the many, many other titles I've missed at one point or another, but who knows?
