@Eagly I actually started Amphibia a while back and kind of fell off it for that exact reason. I would like to go back to it though since I really liked the characters and, like you said, it apparently picks up really well in later seasons.

If you're up for challenge then try watching them in canon order rather than this arty non-linear story telling so most of Better Call Saul then both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul at the same time and then El Camino.
I always felt Breaking Bad was a tad over rated myself, not to say it's bad but compared to other MUST-SEE telly it's not as must see. Better Call Saul was better in my most humble of opinions.
Breaking Bad first and second series was good, they were funny and serious at the same time, but by the third series (i think it was the fly episode) I got bored with it completely. Also could never get over the fact ITS MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE'S DAD!!!
Got watching the Cabinet of Curiosities over the weekend, not bad, 8 singular hour long stories all introduced by Guillermo del Toro and each directed by different people.

@Bunkerneath Fly is definitely a polarizing episode, especially compared to the ones before and after it. I personally really liked that episode since it focused more on the characters instead of some huge action scene or dramatic reveal. However, I will say that the episodes following Fly are some of my favorite in any show I've ever watched. The S3 Finale nearly had my heart beating out of my chest. If you ever feel like going back to the show I highly recommend sticking with it through that brief slowdown.

I just started BCS a week ago, and so far my impressions are really good. I still think it's too early to form any concrete opinions, though. Saul was probably my second favorite character from BB, so I am all for a prequel about him. So far, I love the tone of the show. The directing and cinematography feel a lot more varied and creative than BB, and I'm still only on the first few episodes.

@jump, you mentioned "american-izing" of doctor who the other day. Is this what you were talking about? Dammit. I didn't know what you were talking about. I don't want Disney having input on Doctor Who.
For US people: I've also seen articles saying BBC America (the US channel, how I watch Doctor Who) will lose new Doctor Who starting November 2023. This is insane. (BBC will still be the home for doctor who in UK, though.)
The good news part: I did see an article say that David Tennant will be the doctor for three Doctor Who specials before the new season starts in November 2023. If that's true, I'm into it!
@Eagly How many more of the comics are there for them to adapt? (even though basing ideas on comics is not always a good idea) Maybe we can see an idea of what they could do with her.
What if they (using my rough idea of what the show is) use time travel and dimension stuff to find a new Alison to replace the old Alison while shes still kinda the same.
@WoomyNNYes I'm not paying to read the article but I imagine so. The thing is you don't lay down a huge sum to not have any say in it. I'm not expecting any huge changes like The Doctor is now in an American telephone booth or carries a gun to fight space Antifa but a few more US locations and some guest actors Americans will know to make it more yank marketable I can see happening.
My head goes to Black Mirror which I mentioned last time I think. It's a fantastic British show abit like The Twilight Zone which was picked up by Netflix and once Netflix picked it up there's suddenly alot more American centric episodes even though Charlie Booker the guy that created it still works on the show.
@Eagly Yeah I watched season 3 of both Doom Patrol and Umbrella but to be honest I don't remember/love it enough to really comment. However the core of the show is messy greys, making mistakes and family so they will forgive her and more on like they did with Vanya.
Aw, I love Tuca and Bertie. I only just got round to starting season 2 (I think it only came out a few months ago in the UK) so at least I've still got quite a bit to watch, but it's a shame the planned ending didn't get to happen.
