Topic: The similarities between Kid Icarus and Pikmin.

I realized this a while ago. Both series have only three games, and the first two for both were relatively close to each other in terms of release dates, while the third games where/are several years later. Just thought that was interesting.

Plus both are awesome.

Both are made by Nintendo
But opposite all Pikmin titals are playable on TV but all KI titles are playable on Handheld

The life of a Pikmin is sad.
The life of the floor ice cream is sad.

Unfortunately only one will be playable on the Wii U.

Both Pit and Olimar can't fly on their own.

olimar and pit are both captins,oilmar is the captin/leader of pikmin while pit is captin/leader of the centurion.

Both were newcomers to SSBB.
Actually I wonder what pikmin would be like if it pulled an uprising and had voices to add humor

There are the NPC versions of both Pikmin games for Wii and Wii U is backwards compatible for Wii U so all 3 will be playable on Wii U.

Yep. This makes them 100% similar.

Pikmin only been on consoles, but would make a better handheld game.
Kid Icarus is mostly on handheld, but should be on console.
They were both in Smash, but thats pretty much it.

Kid Icarus is more like Metroid, since both NES games were made the same way, and Kid Icarus has a metroid type monster.
If you want to know a real good fun fact: Did you know that Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Country Retuns were both release on November 21, in NA.

Because they're both,awesome and made by Nintendo makes them as identical as Mario and Luigi.
