@Eel That's fair, I just kind of merge them together since they're both Konami dance games with the same gameplay. Even then he has almost 40 of them now lol, curious though, would you consider DrumMania and the other games like Para Para Paradise their own franchises?

@FroZtedFlake I’m not familiar enough with them to judge, but I’d say if the franchise has a different name, it’s its own franchise.

Kinda like how all the Mario, Wario, and Yoshi games could be merged together, but they’re technically all their own franchises.

@Eel Yeah, makes sense, I think the "Mania" games are all spin-offs so maybe that'll be the only cutoff we do.

So how strictly is the 5 per franchise being enforced otherwise? I feel like Mario and Zelda might currently be exceeding that limit. I’d say it’s different, because in my opinion limits are more so needed on games where music is the primary focus, but I feel like I should point it out anyway…

It’s more of a per franchise per person limit. You know, to avoid having one person overpopulate the list with music from a single source.

Either way it’s not a rule, it’s more of an… Agreement between Anti and I.

As of right now I just need to add the DDR and BeatMania songs to the bracket and we should be ready to go. Thanks for narrowing those down, there were quite a lot as I was going back through the posts.

As for whether certain songs qualify for the theme, I mostly leave it to everyone here to agree what should or should not be included. If a song ends up in the final bracket and you don’t think it fits the theme, don’t vote for it. Once the bracket is locked I can’t edit the participants so that’s the easiest solution.

Thanks for your patience everyone, we’re finally ready to kick off the next tournament and find out which final boss has the best music of them all!

Tough draw for Adventure’s End. It’s one of my favorite Mario boss themes, but it doesn’t stand a chance against Dancing Mad.
