Who here has a google nexus 7?
is it better than a previous tablet you owned or worse?
Is it suffering from defects and more importantly, are you enjoying it?
I haven't bought a Nexus 7 yet but I'm planning to buy one soon.
Going to wait until Win RT and the ipad mini before choosing. The ipad already has more apps and from keeping up with Windows 8 the app store is growing faster than the android tablet app store is.
And I have kindle fire so anything would be an upgrade from it.
The Nexus 7 is definitely looking impressive, but out of general curiousity, I'll wait to see if the iPad Mini offers anything extra, at a reasonable price like that of the Nexus 7.
@komicturtle That's a terrible idea. The Nexus 7 does all that and more far better than your average cheap Android tablet, with the amazing bonus of being the first and possibly only to receive new Android version updates. But then again, you're not exactly in a position to respond to me, so I'll stop there. zing!
Anyway, I badly want one of these, but since I am still loving the heck out of my Kindle Fire every single day, I can't justify the switch just yet. Plus there's the whole iPad Mini, new Kindle Fires, Windows 8 tablets/Surface, and who know what else coming by the end of this year. The tablet space is really just heating up, so I feel like I'm best off adopting a wait and see approach, no matter how attractive Google's device might be.
