Topic: The Newbie Introductions Thread

@supermarido, from another newbie who just joined yesterday, welcome to the club!

Hello everyone

Just joined recently. What is the best method for posting a game-specific question? For example, if I am seeking a botw tip for a very specific quest, and said quest does not have a topic, where would I post it, under Switch main as a new topic? Are there dedicated game sub-forums? I searched, but not having much luck. Thanks in advance, really like it here so far!

Hi all! Like @supermarido, I also have decided to join the community after using this site for years as a resource for info and reviews. I've always respected the fact that this community is pretty big and active, but still well-moderated and overall, pretty positive and respectful.

I've played Nintendo games my whole life, but I had to skip the Wii and WiiU and just got my first Switch. Switch OLED, not Switch 2, so yeah... I'm not so much "fashionably" late to the party as "astoundingly," but it's great to have finally arrived, haha. Breath of the Wild is impressing the pants off me, Fantasy Life i is everything I wished its predecessor was, the HD-2D JRPGs are giving me a serious salivation problem... I could go on (clearly).

I've only interacted with a few of you so far, but it's already been fun! I look forward to getting irrationally opinionated in the Boxart Brawl comments from time to time, haha.

I would've welcomed you earlier, but I was having a few issues with this site not loading on my Google Chrome, so I'm using DuckDuckGo for the first time in my life right now 🤣. I myself lurked for almost two and a half years before making an account a few months ago.

@supermarido Haha, it was more like when I came across this thread and decided to introduce myself, I read your introduction and realized you'd started it almost exactly the way I wanted to start mine, so I wanted to acknowledge that and say hi as I said hi to everyone else. People have been so friendly so far!
