Topic: The Legend of Zelda Orchestra CD = Epic Win

Oh I'm really enjoying this CD. Specially track number 3! It really makes me want to play Wind Waker all over again. I forgot how epic the music was in that game! I would pay good money to see this concert!!

So what's everybody's favorite track?

The Twilight Symphonic movement followed by Ballad of the Goddess.

Just ripped it to my hard drive and loving the 25th Anniversary medley. Brings back lovely memories of the games and that time I went to see the live symphony.

Gerudo Valley

25th Anniversary Medley then Ballad of the Goddess. Great freebie: only 8 songs but still 45.2 minutes of music!

Such a great collection of music! Some of the songs are even a whole 10 minutes long so it really seems like more than 8 tracks. I wish I could have been there for the 25th Anniversary concert. I imagine I might have been moved to tears.
It's so heartwarming to know so many people enjoy the music of Zelda that much.

Did the symphony play more songs? Or was what's on the CD the whole concert?

Listening to this stuff right now. It is awesome! I LOVE the Wind Waker part.

i'm pretty sure they played more in the concerts, i saw some youtube videos of other songs (before they all got taken down).

I just got it yesterday, already listened to the whole thing a couple times D:

I was really surprised with the Gerudo Valley track, and i also liked to hear the part of the 25th anniversary medley that had A Link to the Past music(from the Dark World). The whole CD surpassed my expectations on quality and just how good it sounds overall.

It's absolutely an epic-win. 'The 25th Anniversary medley' begins with that gorgeous ending theme of Zelda III (sigh). I always had a soft spot for the 'Great Fairy's Fountain Theme' since Zelda III. My favorite song has to be 'The Legend Of Zelda Main Theme Medley'!

I would have been a lot happier with a true soundtrack for Skyward Sword. Compared to the music in game, the symphony CD was pretty lame.

Maybe. But it still would have been better than that concert CD.

I thought the Wind Waker piece on the CD was magic. The whole CD was incredible value considering, with the gold Wii Remote Plus, it was just a £10 markup on the game by itself. Worth every penny.

The concert piece made more sense as not everyone could or can go. Anyone could buy the SS OST.

Only gripe is that its not everything in the concert.

I get what you're trying to say but… Not everyone could buy the SS OST if it (like the 25th anniversary orchestra CD) was only packaged with the game :3

The Wind Waker movement is amazing and nostalgic. It's like playing through Wind Waker in one ten-minute piece of music. Ballad of the Goddess is also amazing and I wish there had been a longer version of it. The rest of it was good but not that memorable to me.
