Walking Dead Telltale games - I finished Seasons 1 & 2 years ago, I think on the phone, and loved them. I may want to go through the entire collection for about $12.
I'll pick up Prince Of Persia, it's time
I'm strongly considering Kingdom Come Deliverance, especially since rumors of a SW2 upgrade coming
The Citizen Sleeper games completely passed me by - but reading the NL piece on it, I went back through to check out the reviews, and grabbing 1 & 2 on discount is tempting.
Pentiment is still on my list, as is Ball x Pit
I picked up the Atari 50 Pacman DLC...I will grab any DLC for that game & I'm hoping for an Activision DLC pack at some point
I'll probably grab a Switch Eshop pack from Costco, giving an extra 10% off these games
@NintendoByNature Becarful with that. They can refund your money and take away your digital license to play the game and make you pay the right price. I had that happen a few years ago with a game.

@Lazz The Walking Dead Telltale game is worth it at that price. Granted the best seasons was 1 and 2 due to the team leaving the studio but its interesting to see Clem's evolution so to speak. I have played it through several times over the years on several platforms and its still one of my favorite games.

@Tasuki I would love to see how the story concludes. I think I've played through Season 1 at least 3 times - it is excellent. I may play through it with my son - he's now old enough to experience the game.

Another benefit of you buying Cyberpunk 2077 digitally though is load times, which are faster digitally than running from a cartridge.
And since you do so much fast travel in the game, that time savings really adds up. Especially as a PC player you probably are used to faster load times, so keeping them as minimal as possible is a huge plus.
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions

Fair enough. It’s also nice to have at least one AAA / RPG install on the Switch, so I don’t mind carving out storage for it. I just think what CD Projekt is doing now, pushing for a good physical experience should be praised. However, I also don’t feel bad buying it at an erroneous discount. I paid full price back in 2020 and felt screwed back then. With all the hard work they put into the game to get it into the shape it should have been, I think it’s finally time to see it through.
If I am really enjoying it and want to cross play back to my PC when I am at Phantom Liberty, I’ll consider buying the expansion on GoG. For now, I am still shocked how well it looks and plays on Switch 2.
I think this will be my handheld bed / night game for the next little while.
@Hwatt
I will say, frame rate is a bit shaky in parts of the Phantom Liberty expansion. The main game is fine for the most part, but there have been sections in Phantom Liberty where I was getting a little aggravated, and felt there was no need to make things that much more ambitious than the base game as it really doesn't make the experience any more "fun". And while NS2 was never originally a target platform, PS4/X1 was and they should have scaled things down a bit to accommodate.
I have found the Quality Mode more stable on TV than Performance Mode simply due to not having a fluctuating frame rate. Running at 30 with some frame drops to 25 in an intense scene doesn't feel as bad as dropping from 40 to 28 in the same scene.
Dogtown is just very taxing. I do recommend Quality Mode for that more stable 30 on the tv, though I gravitate toward Performance Mode in handheld.

Thanks for all the insights! I’m playing handheld at the moment, and I can’t tell the difference too much between quality and performance. Maybe it’s slightly sharper on Quality but it’s not super distinguishable.
When I downloaded the game, my PC cross save was available, and I was in the core of Night City in a car and it seemed to hold up fairly well but again, this is all handled. I’ll keep your notes in when I get to Phantom Liberty.
I have an older LG OLED but I don’t recall if the Switch 2 dock supports VRR. I remember some controversy but if VRR only works on handheld, I’ll probably boot up my PC instead. I run a long HDMI 2.1 from my PC to my TV setup with an Xbox controller for pseudo console gaming . Freesync works well on LG OLEDs.
@Hwatt awesome stuff. I had an inkling it was a pricing error. Glad we grabbed it. Good shout from @FishyS
I decided not to buy it, but really interesting that it was a pricing error. I wonder how that will effect their long term sales.
It’s not the end of the world if you missed out. I fell out of Witcher 3 too and never went back. I don’t think it has much to do with the quality of the games IMO, it’s just a matter of time and place. These are large RPGs afterall… If and when you want to play CP2077, you have so many options. Sooner than later, maybe when Witcher 4 is nearly out or released, 75% discount will likely be the new normal.
