@Sunsy It snowed a bit in my area, too. It wasn't too snowy, but it was definitely there. Weather can be funny at times, lol. Thanks, I actually have some nostalgia for NES Pinball. My grandmother used to have that at her house, alongside other NES games like Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. I think I had that as a set of e-Reader cards, too... I also had Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. as e-Reader cards.
Yeah, same here. This is why I said "I could be wrong." If there's a Nintendo Direct coming soon, great. Otherwise, no big deal. I would certainly like to see what they'll be making, but I always let them take their time, lol.
Yeah exactly! I love getting exclusive stuff and souvenirs when I travel in general, too. It's also a good way to remember your trip, alongside taking pictures and videos. Gotcha, shows tend to be like 20 minutes long I think, though it depends on the series in question.
Oh that's cool, yeah once you get the feel for these characters, it does make things easier. I just don't have the patience to learn fighting games though, lol. I'm decent at Smash Bros., but that's really it. Yeah definitely, I like NSO, but I kinda wish I'd own at least my favorites on Switch. It's cool having all those Mega Man games at least.
Gotcha, thanks for telling me. I never read those Sonic comics. That's awesome, stuff like this is worth remembering for sure... glad to hear you got a picture with Poppy.
I sometimes do Time Trials in Mario Kart, I've done a few tracks in Mario Kart World's Time Trials mode already. I used to play that mode to just drive around tracks when I was a kid.
I wouldn't mind trying it out if it does come out on Nintendo Classics. Oh nice, looks like your aunt kind of knows about that game, haha.
@PeterTomlan86 There was, but I've never played it. Sunsy went ahead and explained the game.
Yes, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is an amazing game for sure. I went ahead and got the last star, and I'm all done with the game. Now I should think of what game to start next... maybe Metroid Prime 4? Recently I've been playing Disney Dreamlight Valley, and I'm enjoying it.
"Give yourself the gift of being joyfully you."
Playing: Mario Kart World, Disney Dreamlight Valley
Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@kkslider5552000 I would say pick one doctor and stick to that one. Not sure how it works over there though, but I was raised by two of them and know doctors well enough to say they’re territorial creatures. So, basically going from one doctor to another and pitting their opinions against each other may result in both saying “ask your other doctor then”. But again, I don’t know how it works over there so take that with a grain of salt.
I assume you’re relatively early on in your treatment, so for now if you already have a prescription and a diet+exercise plan, then the best you can do is following that as close as you can, while keeping in mind that, as with many things, it will take time for things to feel “normal” again. The early days of change are always the harshest.
(Oh and don’t worry, if you’re uncomfortable or unwilling to continue this conversation then that’s entirely on me, don’t feel obligated to reply!)
@Eel If I was uncomfortable, I would not have brought it up in the first place.
I can tell you that at the hospital when I was first diagnosed, one of the people we talked to had a more...drastic take on what I should and shouldn't eat and my doctors I've seen afterwards were basically like "no, that's excessive" and that might as well have been the extent of dietary discussion I've had, despite meeting with doctors several times since. Or at least in any way that is specific to me and isn't the most basic overview of foods, good or bad, in this context.
I am going to tell you that after a year of consistently recorded weight loss that I have no recollection of anyone bringing that weight loss up, and did not know specific aspects related to that until I looked it up on the internet. While its only become a serious concern (to me, I don't actually know how concerned I should be at this point) instead of a mild thing in the back of my mind very recently,
also it sure would be a shame if all questions are answered on reddit in modern internet and my entire IP had seemingly been banned for no reason...oh
@kkslider5552000 perhaps it’s a regional thing since Mexico does have a lot of diabetics, but the sudden unexplained weight loss thing is a common known indicator around here. Like, you can’t lose weight without having a relative asking if you’ve checked your blood sugar.
I honestly think your lack of access to Reddit is a bit of a blessing in disguise in this case; the tailor made placebo you can get from reading things online can be very dangerous. I guess I can only recommend that you ask your preferred doctor to guide you on what to do about your diet, and to do light exercise. Going on walks, stuff like that.
It becomes a balancing act. You can’t do too much or too little. Your doctor won’t be there to offer you solutions… they’re there to help you find what works best for you.
Edit: oh I can recommend another thing, just in case you don’t do this already: find yourself a favorite moisturizer and start a good daily skincare routine. Diabetes has a noticeable impact on the condition of your skin; particularly on extremities. Take the time to moisturize and take good care of your legs, arms and neck.

...I mean I have certainly noticed it on my hands the past couple of winters. I just chalked it up to...winter (which y'know thinking about, was exactly the mindset of me and my family before realizing I had developed diabetes lol) and/or also that my brother has had much more notable issues with his skin for much of his life so I wouldn't have assumed diabetes could be relevant to that until right now tbh.
Just discovered this apparent phenomenon of a Switch game called Lol Surprise Remix Edition: We Rule The World. Can't even begin to imagine what this is.

I looked this up, hoping it was that weird PSP Warioware knockoff. No, that was a different common internet abbreviation used for a title.
But yeah I remember LoL when I worked at Target, shouldn't be surprised there'd be a game.

It has more Amazon ratings than Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, Kirby Star Allies, and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, so I gotta imagine there's something to it!

I noticed there was a mistranslation in converting the distance unit from miles to kilometres from HOPPERS movie I watched with Indonesian subtitle.
IIRC, I saw the distance unit during the Mabel & other animals hijacked Mayor Jerry car to go to flyover, the sign board said 8 miles, but the Indonesian translation with kilometres since Indonesia use metric system converted the 8 miles into 5 kilometres.
It was a huge miscalculation because from miles to km is around 1.6 km so 8 miles should be translated into 1.6 X 8 = 12.8 km, not 8 : 1.6 = 5 km.
I will double check again the subtitle when I rewatch again the movie.
This one hurts. R.I.P. Chuck Norris. As like many I am sure Chuck had an influence in my life, particularly younger. Hes on of the reason I took up martial arts when I was younger and a huge fan of it. Thoughts go out to his family friends and fans.
Think I will binge some Walker Texas Ranger tonight.

Sigh my iPad Air is finally starting to act up. It's sad because they no longer make them in green and that's my favorite color, but it might be time to look into replacing it.
May go for the basic iPad this time around, since I've waited long enough to the point where the basic iPad's chipset is genuinely outperforming my iPad Air. Though the absolutely-overkill M4 chip they put in the current Airs is tempting.
Perhaps I should wait a bit to see if they release a new basic model between now and my birthday. Who knows.
Currently playing the port of Pokémon LeafGreen Version on Switch, but will pause that soon since I have an Amazon order supposed to be coming tomorrow: a PS4 physical copy of Neptunia: Sisters Vs Sisters.
