Long time ago, when I designed my Uranus with half blinded eye, some of my students thought he looked like Kakashi from Naruto.
I have a plan to fix again my planetary heroes design in year 2026, just two or three characters with very minor changes.
@Anti-Matter wow! Your idea is very cool. I actually also did base my versions on the planets rather than be the actual Greek gods, and I especially like what you did with Pluto and basing him off of how the planet was demoted as a dwarf planet and having him be more mysterious and separate from the rest, and making them RPG characters is super cool too! I like Plutoâs design, as well as Neptune, Venus, and Mercury
My version didnât have a personification of Earth, if I recall, I only did Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune.

Btw, I can break down more details of my planetary heroes.
Mercury is the youngest member, 17 years old. He is very smart, very fast like ninja, his weapons are arm cannon like Megaman with Ice elemental and Ice Kunai that he created from his magic and throw toward enemies.
He has Ice magic such as Ice pillar, Frost which a freezing shield that will change water damage into Ice damage, nullify the fire attack or freezing the water monster into ice statue with a chance of being petrified or freezing the water floor into ice floor that can be walked on.
He can using his visor to detect enemies with thermal vision but he's a little bit arrogant and cold especially dealing with Mars. Mercury is the only member who can hold All Items without limitation as in my RPG concept, the other characters have limitation by 20 slots to store the items like Potion, reviving stuffs, antidote, etc but can be upgraded the capacity through the game. The reason I gave Mercury All items because he is Alchemist as well so he can hold as many potions and other stuffs to mix them become different items.
Venus is the only female character in my planetary heroes. Her weapon is Metal fan like LeBlanc FF X-2. She is a good melee fighter with her metal fan. She is basically White magician with fighting skill as she is the only member who can heal, revive the KO members and deal Holy light magic. She is also have special ability like planet Venus which well known as the hottest planet in our solar system by using her passive ability Overheat Crush by accumulating the damage she taken from Fire attacks. When she used Overheat Crush, she will unleash Fire elemental attack like Ultra Heat Wave to all enemies with damage from the accumulation from Fire attack before.
Venus is 22 years old, she has very motherly personality, care with everyone and very patient. Both Mercury and Venus are orphan when they were young and they got adopted by Principal Jupiter as the students of RPG Heroes Academy. The reason they are orphan because both of them in our solar system have no satellites so I made them orphan (no parents).
Earth is the main character in my planetary heroes as we live in Earth so I made Earth become the main character.
He is the son of King Helios and Queen Artemis who are the real parents as Earth was separated by the warp magic to avoid the harm of evil Queen Eris and Earth was landed on real planet Earth and got adopted by his foster parents the farmer family. Earth grown up as farmer boy until his age 23 years old then something happened on Earth planet that made Earth (the main character) returned back to his birthplace at different planet. Earth joined in RPG Heroes academy with Mercury, Venus and Mars to become heroes with mentor Saturn.
Earth have two different weapons: the Normal arm cannon like Megaman and the bladed Shield like one weapon of Organic XIII Kingdom Hearts. His shield can be used for both protect from any attacks and attacking the enemy with the sharp part of bladed shield.
He has the highest HP and defense but his speed is very low considering he wears heavy armors and the bladed shield.
Earth have some Earth magic and Sentinel skills like Earthquake, Petrify, Protect, Shield, Counter attack, Medi Guard, etc.
Mars is the strongest Physical attack hero with Fire elemental.
He is 19 years old, younger than both Venus and Earth considering the size of planet Mars is smaller than planet Venus and Earth but bigger than Mercury.
Mars use heavy two handed blade and he deal the most damage from his blade.
His ability are combination of Knight job with Power Break / Armor Break / Magic Break / Mental Break with some Pyro magics such as Flame burst, Pyro balls, special Fire magic Evaporate which a heat shield that will change Ice damage into Water damage and will completely vaporize any water attacks (zero damage). He also have some supportive skills like Strength Up, Added Fire elemental attack, etc.
Mars is a brave guy with high energy and enthusiasm, likes the funny jokes but easily to get angry as his nature from Fire elemental.
Sometimes, Earth and Mars have quarrels for very trivial matter, like kids fight between Gian and Suneo (Doraemon). Earth surprisingly like to tease Mars and Mars sometimes easily get offended by Earth jokes. But sometimes, Earth and Mars are best buddy, solid teamwork.
Mars only have father but his father was very abusive with Mars and he committed in crime so Principal Jupiter adopted Mars to be student in RPG Heroes academy.
Well, the first half of my planetary heroes I can explain.

@Anti-Matter late reply, but wow, your concept is so cool. I actually really like reading on info for fictional characters, so thanks for expanding on your characters! I also like how you based their abilities, HP, characteristics, stories, and elements on actual characteristics of the planets and incorporated them well with the RPG stuff. You definitely did a better job with them compared to my versions, haha.
I also recall giving my versions of the Solar System special weapons, but I donât think their weapons were elemental basedâŠI think I based mine more on the personalities I gave the characters.

Well, I promised I will breakdown the second half of my planetary heroes.
Jupiter is the principal of RPG Heroes academy. He is the oldest from all planetary heroes, 70 years old considering planet Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system.
Jupiter use Lightning magics like Thunder, Electrocute, Electro Static, Disable, Immobilize, etc.
Jupiter is Summoner so he can summon the Guardian creatures to help in battle.
But to get the new guardian creatures, you must defeat them then they will join in your party. Only Vajra (Lightning elemental) is the first guardian creature that Jupiter can call by default. The other guardian creatures that can be summoned such as Ignis (Fire), Krista (Ice), Xiphias (Water), Aria (Wind + Water + Lightning), Atlas (Earth) and Xaverio (Holy + Heal).
Those 7 Guardian creatures are based on storyline as there are 3 optional guardian creatures to make it 10.
They are Tempus (Time + Space), Stealth (Master magics + Master Protection skills + Master saboteur skills) and Paragon (Non elemental).
They are very difficult guardian creatures to beat as you must get them in order to get the next one.
A little bit explanation of the 7 main guardian creatures. Ignis = Fire elemental knight Krista = Ice Queen Xiphias = Swordfish Knight Aria = Rainstorm goddess with 3 elementals from rainstorm : Wind, Water & Lightning Atlas = Rock elemental giant dude Xaverio = Angelic male guardian with angel wings
Tempus is a Time guardian with robotic like hooded hermit. He is pretty annoying as he can use time magics to manipulate movement, warping, changing the speed, changing age of the players into Old or Youth. But he has one very upsetting time magic only if he is in very low HP, Return. If he use Return (chance = 0.1%), the player will be send back into Title screen like before fighting the Tempus.
As summon, Tempus can use time magics to all party members, throw the enemies into Black hole (chance = 10% instant KO).
His overdrive attack is Chronos Break which inflict heavy non elemental damage to all enemies and stop their movements for 20 seconds within radius 20 meter.
Stealth is a huge humanoid creature somewhat like Twelve from Street Fighter 3 + XLR8 Ben 10 with multiple of different magic spells, very strong synergist and saboteur magics and very fast movement.
Before fighting Stealth, you must defeat his two apprentices first: Dexter and Sinistra, youngster of humanoid creatures.
Stealth is too fast, he can kill you with very rapid damage in 1 second so use Ultra Slow from Tempus + Thermal vision from Mercury to slow down the Stealth movement.
As summon, Stealth will help you with various magic spells from Black Magics to White magics but his useful skills are the Ultra Barrier and Ultra Shield and Auto Life.
Stealth overdrive is Blitz Execution which he will strike all enemies with very fast physical attacks then finished with non elemental giant blast to all enemies. His overdrive also dispelling all the positive status from enemies.
Paragon is the last guardian creature, the most difficult optional boss and the biggest size of guardian creature (height = 9 - 10 meter).
Paragon is a giant demi God mecha with lower body shape like Neue Ziel in Gundam, upper body part is armless humanoid looking creature with giant peacock shape shield on his back and 7 elemental giant blades on the edge of peacock shield represented the 7 days of creation in Bible.
Paragon is actually the perfect model of DEUS Creature type 10 as there was back story of DEUS Creature from type 01 to 09 since tens of the thousands of years ago.
Paragon is being sealed inside the Forbidden Temple to keep him from being misused by human but after tens of thousands years later, the temple get filled with very strong fiends, the temple slowly became abandoned ruins.
To get Paragon, you must get both Tempus and Stealth first in order to unlock a new quest for getting Paragon.
The journey to get Paragon is really really difficult.
First, you must defeat Centaur (Iron Giants with horse body) as the gate guardian of Forbidden Temple, then you must get inside the Forbidden Temple (filled with strong fiends) and unseal the chamber of Paragon.
But you must fight with Argentum first (Spiky looking half mecha creature) then Aurum (similar as Argentum but with gold color).
After you defeated both of them, the hidden room will be unsealed and you will find another room that lead to chamber of Paragon.
Paragon is very strong but his movement is very very slow.
His attack can deal damage more than 10K, his Nova blast can deal damage more than 100K.
His HP as Boss is the highest from all Bosses, 10 Million HP..
Paragon as summon will boost your HP with Double HP, One MP cost, Auto Regen, Auto Life during battle. His normal attack are Crush and Laser Beam.
Paragon overdrive is Hyper Nova, a giant supernova blast to all enemies with non elemental damage more than 1 Million damage (4 times damage for Holy weakness enemies)
Well, I explained every detail of Jupiter and his summon creatures.
I will tell more the other planetary heroes next time.

Yeah. I dunno many squirrel characters ether. It's weird. Similarly, I really like kitsune for their transformation abilities (Imagine your superpower being "All of the above".), but do not know that many depictions of them being able to do it like that.

Yea. My art has had higher and lower points, but generally isn't functional. It used to be I had more patience, but that went away. Which is why I currently want my art to be more text or idea based. And for my idea of a continuation, yeah. It was weird seeing some of it was already done. Part of the idea was to have a new generation cast, but with a new ultimate driving goal, and some returning cast. My idea would have been used to have Future Trunks as a permanent main character who lost everything.
Your idea being too similar to 3 Houses feels like nonsense to me honestly. It wasn't a magic school. They were factions from different countries coming together in a time of peace, only for war to break out, and the school more or less perishes. Though the students were teens, nothing else was too similar. Besides, the "school with conflicting factions" idea has been used a lot. So yours might be different enough to stand out in the genre. Your other idea sounds neat too honestly! It can't possibly be as bad as the endgame of Naruto's anime, with some 50+ named characters all getting their own spotlights. Apparently, they seemed to have been planning initially to give each named character 2 episode dream sequences for an arc just before the finale, so that upset some ppl...
Yeah, I need to stop falling to that too. However, lately, things have genuinely gotten bad. Financial support is being cut. Or the insurance. Idk which. Cause someone decided it'd be a good idea for the financial support to suddenly gift me more money than I'm allowed to have at any one time. And yesterday was genuinely awful. Gonna have to recover from that. One of those days where, a LOT of the ppl significant to you end up suffering greatly.
Yeah, I also donât really see kitsune in media with transformation abilities, even though itâs a very prominent aspect of it. Only one I recall was with the Yo-kai Watch anime, but even then the kitsune in that one only changed into human form (from what I saw in season 1) when he appeared. His human form was more of a disguise and less of a transformation.
I see, thatâs cool. I donât think Iâve ever seen nekomata Sakura beforeâŠI have a decent amount of heroes (around 300 or so) but there are more than a 1000 of them, and some are missing and have question marks when I look at my hero gallery, so I havenât seen all of the heroes yet.
I havenât drawn in months, so I am hoping that my art skills are the same when I go back. Though the first thing Iâm doing is changing my art style again. One frustrating thing is art block. Sometimes I feel like my art skills are stagnant or I draw the same things all the time. I like drawing animal characters a lot but thatâs mostly it. Iâm more into character design a lot. That idea is pretty cool. Usually, I donât have ideas for media Iâm a fan of, but if thereâs a fandom I know of that likes writing and drawing their own ideas for what they like, itâs maybe the Sonic fandom. Iâve gotten recommended a lot of cool alternative universe ideas and stories a few of them came up with. One Iâve seen a lot was a darker post-apocalyptic version based on a storyline from the Archie Sonic comics.
Iâd say the different factions at the school in my story kind of acted more like clubs and less like classes, not to mention that the factions had no actual leader and no fighting broke out between the students. I am glad I didnât make war a huge thing in my story if it was present a lot in Three Houses, though I donât think Iâll work on it again. I kind of liked that Greek story I was making, but if I were to work on it again, Iâd only have it focus on the personifications of the Solar System instead. I had way more fun writing them than the protagonist. Yeah, I think the only issue I had with the story was it had a lot of main characters, and I toned it down to maybe three. One issue I have with some things I watch or play is when the cast is so big it becomes unfocused and the rest of the cast is just there and doesnât do anything, which, coincidentally, is an issue I had when I was randomly binge-watching the Ice Age sequels for the first time recently, though I also had other issues with the films besides the cast getting extremely big.
Sorry that things have been super rough lately. All that sounds bad, and Iâm super sorry youâve been feeling really down. There are times where it feels like bad stuff happens a lot and then escalates one day, or that it seems to keep repeatedly happening. Thatâs happened to me a few times and left me very disappointed and upset.

Tried out that Grok thing on Twitter to ask it a question comparing 2 yoghurt makers I was interested in. The response was actually pretty helpful. I did buy one and looking forward to starting to make my own vegan yoghurts.
However, now every follow up question to unrelated matters is tinged with yoghurt references. Such as how I might like Pokemon Violet, because the content is thick, like greek yoghurt. Or how another game is smooth, like yoghurt etc.
Not everything needs to be compared to yoghurt Mr. Grok!

@Princess_Lilly Haha. It seems that way! I thought I was obsessed with yoghurt with the amount I buy, hence buying my own maker, but at least I don't use it as a comparitive reference point!
YES! I love the Mana series, but Secret of Mana is my favourite game of all time still to this day. It just means so much to me. Do you have a favourite in it?
@Mana_Knight well, yoghurt is a very healthy thing to be obsessed with. Mine is coffee, a bit less healthy in large doses, but it still beats alcohol and cigarettes, so I'm counting my blessings here
Secret of Mana is amazing. I played both the original and the remake. I think the remake of Trials of Mana was my favorite by the skin of its teeth, though. Oh and I haven't started Visions yet, I only played the demo and up until the festival (so I just passed the prologue)

Yes, I enjoyed the remake of SOM too! But only played it through once, compared to many many times for the original. I will do it again some day, but I am just not a PC gamer, which is the only way I have to play it. I like playing on a console really.
Thinking of getting Trinity Trigger (13 pounds on sale in E-shop now), which is meant to be very SOM inspired, even having the same composer! Have you ever played that?

Vision of Mana available on PS4 & PS5 for the console version I can get since I have PS5 machine so I can get the game anytime.
But that game will take more than 40 GB for the installation on PS5 machine.
I don't think I will wait the Switch 2 version of Vision of Mana (even if Switch 2 version as good as PS4 version) if I can choose the PS5 version.
@Anti-Matter Thanks :0) I was aware it was on that, but I don't have a Playstation 4/5. The exclusives are not my kind of games really for the most part, so could not justify the expense. Like you, I don't really like really violent or R-rated type games, which they seem to lean on a bit more. I know you like the console for plenty of other reasons though! :0)
Wanted to randomly pop in and say hi whatâs everyone up to? I kind of realized I havenât been saying anything the past few daysâŠ
Drew again for the first time in two months. Tried using colored pencils and some ink and gosh itâs hard. There was this unused graph paper notebook that was sitting around, and I donât know why I just envisioned drawing stuff in it and using it as a sketchbook even though I have a bunch of unfinished ones. I wanted to use some unused orange ink as a base color and then use colored pencils and layer on top, but Iâm sorta not good at colored pencils compared to how I used to. Used those things a ton when I was drawing semi-realism years ago, and now I absolutely suck at using themâŠI actually wasted a lot of time trying to draw something, since a lot of the sketches I was making I was unsatisfied with, plus the 0.7 blue lead I was using was annoying me because of how visible it started looking after I began coloring with ink, even after I cleaned the sketch up, and it smudged so much when I was erasing. So far the drawing isnât finished, but I am liking it so far. Hopefully I can finish it this week, but I donât expect to get it done fast. I think Iâve started to care less about art unfortunately, and find it super frustrating even more. Itâs strange, I see a bunch of people drawing on Instagram and I get inspired, and when I actually draw I lose all motivation and excitement when I realize how difficult it is. Doesnât help I didnât practice other fundamentals beforeâŠ
