@EllaTheQueen6 Nope, accidentally found out the merger worked when I was checking for new episodes of "Spidey and his Amazing Friends" (after seeing new ones of "Alice's Wonderland Bakery" were added before their air-date). My sister has Hulu so I still have to watch separately.
@EllaTheQueen6 I belive this one was launched from California, and it went straight through the entire peninsula down south, so we had a top notch view of it!
@Sunsy Nice, that's cool. Just curious, did you play in the Mario Kart tournament, or was that just casual races? I happened to play as Peach in the tournament, though I did pick Mario when I was playing SMB Wonder.
Yeah. Same thing with the Miis, where names would also just be 10 characters long. And I don't like shortening my usernames either... I like them all perfect, lol. It's why I'm still MarioLover on the Switch, and in Splatoon 3. I go by D-Pad in Animal Crossing: New Horizons though... my ACNH friends, as well as my animal villagers, would also call me D.
Ah yeah that's cool that Sega and Microsoft brought over PSO2, it's a game I wouldn't mind at least trying when I get a chance. Interesting that it has an anime of its own... if I recall correctly, Persona 5 got its own anime as well.
Oh gotcha, yeah those battle passes don't sound fun. They sound like there's a lot of busywork involved, and I wouldn't do too well with that sort of thing. I get overwhelmed easily in general. Anytime, Anna's always been my favorite character from Frozen. I do like Olaf too, and Elsa is a pretty cool character as well... no pun intended, lol.
Hope things get better for you.
It was just casual races, I didn't join a tournament. Just me and my friend doing races and taking turns choosing our tracks.
Yeah, it always seems to me that Nintendo always had a 10 letter limit to usernames. Even on the old DS, 10 was the limit... then you had Sega who limited names to 8 letters in the Sonic games. "Sunsy" keeps things small, lol.
I didn't even know Persona had its own anime. Yeah, PSO2 was exclusive to Japan for so long, it was a blessing they brought it over. I should consider reinstalling it and playing it some more. I remember uninstalling it to make room for another PC game.
No, they're not. I was excited when I got a battle pass for Paladins a few years back, when I played it, it started feeling more like work than actually playing to have fun. It felt like I was grinding to get most of the rewards (which I did get). It's better than lootboxes, you know what you're getting, but the grind makes it feel like a chore than fun. Definitely, at least unlocking Elsa was an easier task (play the Elsa event 10 days in a row), than a battle pass.
@Sunsy Ah yes, the magical land of Target. One I've seldom wandered into. Namely because the closest one is well over an hour away. Unlike Walmarts. I never got into collecting Amiibo cards, but weren't some of those bought up almost immediately, then resold by scalpers? My Noah and Mio Amiibo double pack finally arrived at least.
@Sunsy Ah! I've never used tilt controls before. I'm sure it's a unique way to play. I'd at least try it, but knowing me I'd default back to my pro controller. XD No problem with taking time on your responses, RL should take precedence. Not like my posts are going anywhere, and I don't plan to either for the next while.
I think the only amiibo cards I have are the ones included with Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival (I remember getting it for like $6), and the Sanrio collab pack. Most of my amiibo are the figures. I believe the Sanrio cards were bought up and scalped. Nice on the amiibo.
Yeah, I use to use the Wii Wheel with racing games, so I'm use to playing driving games like that. I use both wheel and pro controller for racing games. Thanks for being understanding. Having that cold was not a good time, and mostly rested.

I've been playing Shin Megami Tensei V a fair amount lately. The story is, as most fans of the series would describe it, rather weak. I normally play things for the story, but this game I've actually really been enjoying the gameplay for it. About a week ago, I finished my second playthrough, because I still want to know how the game ends for each side, and I want to fill the compendium too. The next day I started a new playthrough, and the day after that, @TeaCatherine decided to take it to the other end of the country. How she decided that was a good idea and something that I permitted is beyond me. Anyway, I won't be able to play it again until the end of the month most likely. What a pain.

Currently Playing on Switch: Chaos:Child, Master Detective Archives: Rain Code, The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-
This week, playing Splatoon. The original Splatoon. As in the original Wii U game. I know I could do some Turf Wars in Splatoon 2, but this game has less than a week to be enjoyed online. Before it becomes a single player and local multiplayer game.
Might as well enjoy the game before the servers go offline Monday.

I’ve been doing wonder trades in Pokemon Omega Ruby all day long.
Sigh. Sad times.
Edit:
Hah something somewhat funny happened. A random guy requested a trade, and with the end of service being near, I decided to be fun and go along with it. I have a lot of random shiny Pokemon from the wonder trades, so I immediately locked a shiny Regice into the trade, and the other guy went about showing off his own collection of wonder traded mythical and shiny Pokemon, but then he settled in for a random level 1 Pichu. I didn't mind the trade so I went ahead with it.
Much to my surprise, checking the Pichu afterwards, I realized it had my very own trainer's name as the original trainer and that, like, really creeped me out... But then I realized the guy had just found me to return one of the Pokemon I had Wonder Traded away earlier in the day (or the day before, I can quite remember).
Welp, I suppose it's meant to be, it's the Pichu that came back.
Besides catching up a few Playstation 3 games for my Playstation 3 this year I'm also buy with reading big books such as Stephen King's needful things and Wheel of Time Book 9 Winter's Heart this month.
that and exercising at the rec center to slim down a little
and catching up on my watchlists on Netflix and Tubi and Shudder and Paramount. the only things I'm watching on Paramountplus is Tosh.0, Star Trek Discovery, Crank Yankers and old Reno 911
Heard about the earthquake in the NE US. I bet that felt different! They aren't common where I am either, but I've certainly experienced a similar temblor.
@Sunsy I remember Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival's announcement; initially I was curious about trying it until I saw how "toys to life" it would be. I'd kind of like to try an Animal Crossing game still, even if it's a spinoff. I seriously thought about getting the Happy Home Designer 3DS spinoff... namely due to a bundled N3DS unit being one of the onlu ways to officially buy the regular model in this region. I waited too long to decide. I like my N3DS XL, but it's not as compact as I'd liked. NOA dropped the ball there.
Hey, no prob! I know IRL can be crazy - like my week for example. I've had a lot going on most evenings. Glad you're feeling much better! I was sick too about a month ago. I play almost exclusively with the pro controller at home when my system is docked...umless I forgot to charge it lol.
@Tyranexx
It was scary to see the earthquake happened not only at my hometown but also happened at Taiwan, Japan and USA.
Amiibo Festival is surprisingly fun to play when you have at least 4 Amiibo figurines as you can play Solo but take control all 4 players and the way you play the board game mode is co-operate each other since every Happy points you get will level up your Amiibo figurines.
I like to play Amiibo Festival when I feel bored and want to play without thinking too much, just roll the dice and don't sabotage each other.
Oh, if you have interest to consider Happy Home Designer, you better get Happy Home Paradise DLC for ACNH as well.
HHP DLC not only let you play like Happy Home Designer style but you can buy the new products over there, get the new food recipe from Restaurant, get the hospital themed outfits + there are more new villagers added and you can edit your villager's house at your main island both exterior and interior, something that I have dreamt about (house makeover).
Also, I still have some hype with Yokai Watch 3 Tempura after I discovered more new areas of Clutifact. I'm more interested in both hunting the green artifact for instant level up & the rare Yokai. And the fact I can get level 90+ other Yokai from Blaster T mode and level 99 for my main Yokai team, I felt more motivated to play Yokai Watch 3 than the previous games. Yokai Watch 3 also have a lot of improvement in QoL such as Blaster T mode, Infinite Path, Hunt for Criminal Yokai at USA, etc so you can do a lot of different activities whenever you feel bored.
@Anti-Matter Taiwan was tragic indeed. The silver lining there is the country is right along the Ring of Fire and also has the funding to ensure newer buildings are resistant and security protocols can be enforced, so there were few deaths despite the devastation. Same with Japan. The one in the NE US was a 4.8 I believe, definitely enough to cause a few issues but not be extremely dangerous. I'm in the central US, so I didn't feel it at all.
I think Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival would be fun with others, but it's rare I play video games with other people unless it's through online means. Sounds like it's a good "comfort food" game though; both Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Dragon Quest Builders 2 fill those roles for me for now. As for Animal Crossing: New Horizons and its HHP DLC, I do think I'd like the game; I'm just worried its repetitive, task-heavy nature will compel me to check things every day. Something I won't always want to do. This is a trap I fell into with the Nintendogs games on the DS years ago. It became less fun and more a chore. I would still like to try AC:NH at some point...or at least some kind of Animal Crossing lite game.
I'm happy to see you're still having a lot of fun with Yokai Watch 3: Tempura. Unfortunately, I was unable to secure a North American 3DS copy since they're very rare, and the eShop is now closed (wasn't fond of the big download block size). I've considered importing the game from Japan, but I'm not sure I want to also buy a Japanese 3DS or 2DS unit just for one game. I am seriously thinking about importing Yo-Kai Watch 4 for Switch and playing it while using a translator on my phone or something. I think the localization outside of Japan was quietly canceled after Level-5 started experiencing issues.
I keep hearing something not good happened from Disneyland USA such from the disclosure of their attraction and other venues, I have no idea what is going on but I heard it seems it was about their financial issue.
Who have visited Disneyland at Florida recently and how was the situation over there?
@Tyranexx
For Japanese 3DS games, my suggestion is Yokai Watch Sangokushi (Tactic RPG style), Yokai Watch Busters 2 (Magnum / Sword), Taiko no Tatsujin games, Mahocole Maho Idol Collection (Cute Rhythm Adventure game with human and animal characters), the games but Nippon Columbia, etc to pair with Yokai Watch 3 Japanese version so the purchase of 3DS Japanese machine will be worthy.
And actually after some thought, I prefer Yokai Watch 3 Japanese version than English version for keep the USA name for their foreign country destination, not BBQ City in English version.
Also, the Japanese dub of the characters sounds better than the English version after some thought.
I have Yokai Watch 3 Tempura since 3 years ago (bought in February 2021) and still have the most played Yokai Watch games compared with my USA version of Yokai Watch 1, 2 and Blasters. Currently I have accumulated more than 280 hours gameplay of Yokai Watch 3 Tempura and I still looking for Yokai Watch 3 Sushi for getting Silver Lining Yokai as I prefer him as muscular superhero Yokai than the red Little Charmer in Tempura version.
