Makes sense, like regarding the Switch lineup a lot of the attention around Nintendo Life nowadays seems to be about when will Nintendo announce the new hardware.
I find myself struggling to choose what to play next because there’s so much I want to play. Right now deciding between continuing with Unicorn Overlord early (planned for that to be April as there’s nothing announced for that month so far I’m interested in) or starting Tomb Raider 2.
@Grumblevolcano No problem! FWIW, I think site activity is still higher than during the dog days of the Wii U. Another factor - at least for many in the US - is that March Madness (college basketball) is being pushed quite heavily around the weekends right now. Not something I'm into, but many of my coworkers are.
I can relate on choice paralysis. So much stuff I want to play. I'd be set if Nintendo decided to drag their feet for two more years on a Switch successor lol. That's without buying anything new.
So I'm making a 'sona based on Digital Circus, but since I'm not very smart or creative all I did was make a copy of Pomni with different colors and three fox tails.
I pretty much enjoy watching Barbie Life in the Dream house after I found the episodes from YouTube, way much better than the Barbie live action movie 2023.
I like to watch the quirkiness and silliness on each episodes of Barbie Life in the Dream house rather watching the cringey political issue topics in Barbie movie 2023.
Also, this Barbie series was also featured on video games during Wii / PS3 era.
Here is the nonstop 1 hour episodes from YouTube.
Does anyone know if the game Rain World is good? I keep seeing news about it this week for some reason. It has an awful metacritic reviewer score but a pretty good metacritic user score which is always slightly confusing.
Completely forgot Easter is this week. Hope people who celebrate that has fun.
So I recently decided to go through the F-Zero GX soundtrack on a whim and was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying the soundtrack a lot more than I had in the past (even though I've always quite liked the GameCube Super Monkey Ball soundtracks, and you can absolutely hear some of that DNA in GX). I've been a bit hyperfixated on F-Zero stuff since then, in particular looking up more actual gameplay of GX. And then I remembered that our copy of Mario Kart: Double Dash came with a demo disc featuring a playable demo of F-Zero GX, so I gave that for a spin.
Long story short, they better be remastering it eventually (maybe those rumors will actually pan out?). I really enjoyed myself. I honestly can't think of another game in Nintendo's back catalogue I want to see come back more right now, as much as I would like to finally get to play Wind Waker and Twilight Princess on Switch, welcome seeing Chibi-Robo or Kid Icarus Uprising so I can give those games a shot, or be happy to see some of my favorite Nintendo games I did actually beat or play a lot when I was younger coming over in some fashion, like the 3DS Kirby games, Double Dash itself, or Pokemon SoulSilver and Pokemon White 2.
Been playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with @Tyranexx, @jedgamesguy, @Sunsy, and @ChameleonBros, thanks for the races everyone! Did voice chat for the first time so a couple of you now know what I sound like, lol. I did admittedly overreact a few times (when I kept getting hit for example), but I promise you, I still had fun. Good games, and looking forward to our next set of races!
"Give yourself the gift of being joyfully you."
Playing: Disney Dreamlight Valley, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
