@Snatcher well, if you could choose the gender that would be great. It's not much work, the authors would just have to replace he with she a couple of times. Also maybe like 2 pictures that show the MC.

But now that I think about it I mostly enjoy vns with already established characters. As in the mc is not a board cutout with a hole for your face, more like a full character with her own lines and personality.

I stumbled across something called National Park Girls and I thought to myself - ok 4 USD and Im gonna have a little laugh at least. Steam, amirite? But I wasnt ready for what that game really was. Fully voiced, beautifully narrated story with great visuals and compelling music. After that I just buy random VNs sometimes but I bounce off them because I get uncomfortable.

But yeah I recommend NPG, 1 episode costs peanuts.

I keep my eyes on Switch 2 rumour but I set my expectations very low as we don't know what it will looks like and its power.

Thing is, it makes too much sense for these rumours to be fake. The Switch is definitely near the end of its lifespan and the brand is proving massive for Nintendo, and too big to just end and replace with another console. There’s some games we know are in development (Metroid Prime 4) that are coming way too late for the Switch.

Plus if you look at other consoles like the PS2/3/4, each with a solid run of seven years each, the Switch is right at the tail end of this cycle, with tons of games still being released even in mid-2024.

@EllaTheQueen6 thanks! well I’m not really sick yet, but considering everyone else is, and have made all sorts of contact, I’m pretty sure I’m next, I kinda feel a sore throat, but it’s faint, it’s only a matter of time! Need more orange juice! If I’m lucky! I’m already sick, and my symptoms are already low!

So, went to an island today, there was a wrecked house, it was ours, there was a sink full of woodlice (dead and alive), and those are now ours too. And someone seems to have nicked the roof. And there doesn't seem to be a video game shop within a 40 mile radius. Other than that, place seems cool, but I don't really like the idea of going back in winter.

Well, the house was kinda a dump but could have been worse.
I guess I'll probably try and get an apprenticeship or basic job on the local ferries when we move up for real.
